Glad you liked it! Definitely was my least favourite script of the season but honestly turned out so amazing so it's my favourite as well! As for Coach Jeffery, the end is definitely meant to be interpreted as him returning as a teacher since he's technically just dead. If I had gone in detail about the location of where this show takes place earlier (biggest regret of mine - it takes place on a half-island somewhere in england or scottland) you'd realise that getting new teaching staff there is even more tedious than in other places! And let's just say the heavy military control at the bridge is not exactly speaking for them!
Another fantastic episode! I really loved the twist of the teacher still being good despite being zombified, nice little bait and switch. I also like seeing the continuity with his death being set up earlier in the series. Ketos continues to be really entertaining although that moment near the end with him has me a bit concerned for what might end up happening with him later down the line. Really like the progression of the dynamic between the characters as well. Also, quick question: is the red haired character (can’t remember the name, if one was said) nonbinary? I just noticed that exclusively they/them has been used to refer to them, or is Sam and Co. Just not assuming anything because they don’t know their pronouns yet?
Glad you liked it! Really glad you caught the setup! It's something I've done a lot this season. Everything just kinda plays into each other episode (the ending of episode 2 setting up 3, the opening of 3 setting up 4, the -?- of 4 setting up 5). It also continues on into the next season though not as strong as with season 1! If ya like Ketos, you'll either love or hate the season 1 finale, that's all i can say for now. There's definitely lots to come for him and probably one of the most emotional moments I have ever written (and honestly maybe one of the best scenes that honestly is the purest of what this show is at it's core) involves him so great stuff still to come. Also yes, Cal does indeed go by they/them. There was supposed to be more on them in season 1 but that was too much too early so that episode got moved to season 2. Also if you go back to episode 2, you'll see they've actually been introduced there too and also referred to as "they" in a casting environment so it can definitely be assumed that they've known their pronouns for a while now, it's just starting now that they're all hanging out together.
Nice!

Thank you SO MUCH!
This episode was probably my favorite one so far! I’m hopeful that the coach gets his job back, even though he’s a zombie
