I have an advise, the Montezuma Waterfall and its river usually has clear water. When a waterfall or a river in Costa Rica has this brown color its better to go away, because it’s kind of dangerous the water get trapped before where you are and come all at the same time destroying everything on his way. This is not very common, but it’s a risk because some few times this happens and people died.

5 years ago, I don’t remember ever paying to get to the top of the falls there. That must be new. But I did pay to park my atv. I went to the very top of the waterfall and jumped off of the highest one! You would have love it!

For those wondering, I think during busy season ‘November- February I believe flights range sooo much to Costa Rica. I’m going in January during a busy season and staying in a hotel, but a lot of hotels are luckily all inclusive resorts with free food lol and many include breakfast. All together I think for 10 days it’s 2500 including flights for my husband and I. If anyone wants to know during a busy season lol.
