me too LOL
Or fast car!
Juan In a Million don’t forget the em7
It could have been My Sweet Lord too :p
Norwegian Wood, Julia, and Paint it Black as well
The cool thing is with hotel California if you know the chords you can just randomly pick notes and it will sound right
Sorry what
@@francescasanelli3677 he means like the fingerpicking for hotel california doesnt have to be exact as long as you stay on the right chords
@@whilemyguitarblowsup4174 cool
Policemen grow out of their helmets Overnight exactly. 90% of the covers i see online is completely wrong but it sounds right and good still
Peter Martins yeah its a pet peeve but at the same time most of them dont even do their research for hotel california. especially when its picked on a 12 string guitar
This video should’ve been called how to get kicked out of a guitar store
Where were you when I was trying to think of a title for this?
Uh sorry but I don't think that many players play Sweet Home Chicago or Norwegian Wood in guitar stores ...

Wish You Were Here just give me chills whenever someone play it on acoustic guitar 😭
The original is played on 12-string acoustic
Yeah i love that song
Here comes the sun: IM A JOKE TO YOU?
Blackbird: we are...
Yesterday: yup.
Daphné Paré I think he’s doing one song per artist. Even so, I don’t think Norwegian Wood trumps Blackbird and Here Comes the Sun.
Dust in the wind, by Kansas also should’ve been on the list
@@pimprijs2120 could you repeat that one more time? But VERY SLOWLY?
Pim Prijs I hope you’re joking lmaoo

NOT THE SKATEBOARDDDDDDDD
Thank god!
yesterday should be there. or blackbird
I expected Yesterday.
Here comes the sun definitely
The fact wonderwall gets a bad rep it’s literally a fantastic song
Agreed just over played...and oasis have much better songs so it gets a bad wrap by most oasis fans.
same thing with stairway and smoke on the water, awesome riffs and awesome songs but the memes ruin their cred.
@@jungleblobs5225 similar to how Nirvana fans see Smells Like Teen Spirit
@@goldmantis5850 Yep, I'm a Nirvana fan and I love that song.

I've played a lot of Nirvana on this channel so I'm probably a bit biased.

Out of these I love Scarborough Fair, Blowin' in the Wind and Norwegian Wood. Brilliantly played sir.
I LOVE Norwegian Wood!! The Beatles will never die...
Except for John and George.
@@robertmatthews2009ouch 😢
You have no idea how glad I am that somebody recognized Robert Johnson in the way you did. None of these songs would exist without Robert Johnson

Norwegian wood is criminally underrated

Eric Clapton's Layla Unpluged should be on the list
Tiago Lobo yes i was gonna write that
yes
Anyone else just looking for songs to learn because quarantine has you bored asf
Welcome!
Exactly what I was doing. Lol. I've been off work for a few weeks and just got a new acoustic/electric so I been trying to learn a new song every other day to pass the time.
Literally
Great job specifically in Polly. Very good Cobain-style strumming.
Nothing Else Matters, Dust in the Wind, Patience
When Scarborough Fair played
chills went down my spine
you forgot "nothing else matters - metallica"
Nothing Else Matters was played on electric
Connor McCourt on album version, but James played this song on acoustic guitar sometimes
The interlude of Master Of Puppets
The Star Forger that’s on electric
...and fade to black ...and to live is to die
Thank you for playing Norwegian Wood.
and dust in the wind? 🥺

All of these songs are truly amazing, but nothing is as beautiful to listen to as Stairway
Perfect, just wish Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles and Romeo & Juliet by Dire Straits could make the list.
Lake of fire shoulda been in here its legendary
Honestly, if any Nirvana riff belongs in the top 10 acoustic (and that's a stretch) it's All Apologies. It contains a far more iconic guitar hook. LoF is more renowned for Kurt's impassioned vocals. The guitar itself is just rudimentary chord changes.
LoMar Sweed yes its more renowned for kurts vocals but the reason i said LoF shoulda been ok here is because of the acoustic. Thats why i said it. Its an amazing riff
Too bad it’s a meat puppets song bro.
Marina Sayre title of the video says acoustic riffs not nirvana riffs
MEMEYBOI The person that commented above me said that it was a nirvana song and you didn’t correct them. Obviously I was talking to them not you lmao

Great stuff!
2:26 there goes my favourite
There's not enough acoustic stuff on your channel, wish too see more and this video is amazing!
Thank you. More acoustic stuff coming up.
Yes, acoustic content is great to learn when stuck in the apartment during the pandemic.
Wow! Spectacular! I’m proud of you Blocksy 🌟
Thanks man
Nicely Done!
From this cases, the best riff for me is Norwegian Wood. I think it's really brilliant that song
Starting with the 2 cursed riffs is such a power move.
Beautiful guitar playing
Thats one of the prettiest acoustic guitars ive ever seen, bro. Keep playing!
i know this comment has nothing to do with the video, but can you guys help me? I'm a beginner at playing the guitar, so I'm wondering what's the best brand of acoustic guitar for me? is Fender a good brand?
edit: thank you for pinning this comment and thank you for answering my questions!
great video by the way. STAY SAFE!
No the best brand that is also very budget friendly is PRS
I am very happy with my Fender CD60S. But there are so many good guitars out there. Good luck and enjoy!
I have multiple acoustics and my beginner model fender and it plays decent. If you have the money i recommend possibly a taylor or a martin, as they're like the fenders and gibsons of acoustics. If you really want to go all out, try looking for a Takamine. I just love their sound, but every one sound unique in their own way, so i recommend going to a music store and trying them out yourself (once the pandemic things over of course)
Picking a guitar is all about what feels and sounds good to you. That being said, brand wise You can’t go wrong with either a tailor or a Martin.
if you can afford it you can get a good martin for a good 800 to 1200 usd. honestly tho, if you can, go to a guitar store after learning some basics and whatever feels best is what you should pick up
I like your guitar ! Beautiful
Thanks! It's pretty old now, I don't play it often.
Really grt setlist of legendary acoustic hits my fav are polly, time of ur life,
Beautiful tone and sound
He's definitely getting kicked out of the guitar shop
I know “we’re going to be friends” by that one song that played in Napoleon Dynamite 😂
Love your guitar man ! Nice playing too ;)
Thanks! I was running out of good riffs for acoustic guitar!
Falto Blackbird de The Beatles
Dust In The Wind: I guess everything is over...
Nicely done!
Thank you!
Ohh man your playing is sooooo tight!!! Amazing technique
Probably the only person I've ever seen on RUclips play Norwegian wood exactly like the record
Everyone: *guitar employees left the chat*
Me: Wheres Tears in Heaven 😭
It's not an acoustic guitar, it's a classical
Most excellent playing man .... all ... but the crispness of “ Scarborough Fair” just blew me away .... fab choices ..... perfect sound/tone too.
Thank you. I'm thinking of doing a video of Simon and Garfunkel songs. Not sure when though.
If you already make legendary acoustic riffs you cant go without nothing else matters
To me, most of these are chord progressions, not necessarily “riffs”. An acoustic riff to me involves some melodic line that you don’t get just by playing standard chords. Like the main guitar part in “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman. But nice job regardless.
Guitar store employees have left the lobby:
That is a beautiful sounding guitar. Wow!
Solid playing good job
Thank you.
Play the guitar and Covid-19 will run away :D
When the capos at the 2nd Fret and video"s about acoustic riffs ...you know what's coming
Anyway heres....
Big up man!
So good man😊
Thanks man.
Missing Neil Young Hey Hey My My.
I thought that would be here too, for sure

I love this...
What about "neon" by john mayor
This guy is basically Kurt being possesed by Lou in some videos.
and it's start with Wonderwall..... beauty!
Thanks for posting . Stairway to Heaven and Hotel California... the others don't even come close
"Boulevard of broken dreams" it's also a good riff
The way you strum hurts me in the heart
I'm sorry to hear that!
Blocksy no worries, just joking. Is never too late to improve themselves! Keep doing what you love!
Blocksy seriously improve your strumming
@@dezmounts978 Nah. But I suppose I will, I just never noticed.
Blocksy Hey, if it works, it works. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
Good Job!
Thanks!
Great guitar songs bro... we’re going to be friends reminds me of napoleon dynamite intro ; such a good lick
Of acoustic
J Torres very underrated movie too
0:30 NO STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!
Just joking 😂
Their face isn’t in frame because this is Wilbur sout’s second channel lmao
When he first started playing Scarborough fair I thought it was silent lucidity, that should be on pt. two. 👍🎸
Music 🎵 is amazing and fascinating.
I think sweet home Chicago was the only riff I could see everything else was just chord sequences not riffs
Dude clearly hasn’t heard of the smiths
