I just got it thursday and has been using it since. Its by far the best headset ive ever worn and the audio is sooooo clean i hear no latency or distortions
It's hardly mid-range here in Canada it set me back $225 after taxes but the audio quality is far superior to the cheaper Pulse headset. I swear I'm hearing certain sounds in my PS5 games for the first time. Make sure you use the sound height calibration tool and find that sweet spot, which is different for everybody. Now I want to go through my library of games again to experience them in this new soundscape. The headset is very easy to setup and even pair with another Bluetooth device like your mobile phone. It's also very comfy to wear for hours.

Sounds great, but I think the cutouts for the ears is a tad too small.
@@MichaelLemosKilluminati5176_ we get killed on the exchange rate that's why the big price difference, the Canadian buck is only worth 73 cents US. Believe it or not we don't even have it as bad as other countries.
What is the height calibration tool?
@@oppenheimer11 it's inside your PS5 settings, probably under Sound > 3D Audio or something like that. Don't remember, but it's not hard to find.
The price is mid range but this thing outguns every headset besides the Maxwells in terms of raw audio..
Because Sony own Maxwell. They limited volume and quality on all non Sony headsets. It's disgusting but it's true. How can a pulse be better than astro a50 or nova pro wireless? Obviously it's nowhere near but they Limit all competition and yes the pulse sounds far better.
basically a must have if you want a fully immersive gaming experience

The fact that EVERY review no one mentions use with the PSVR2 has me worried. I own the pulse explore earbuds and the L one always disconnects at some point during gameplay with using PSVR2, yet fine without…. I want to know if this headset has any issues AND I want to know how they fit with the headset. Do they go on first then the headset or vice versa?
I use the MG20 headphones@@WanderFeetChronicles you put the PSVR2 on, then headset over that. if you put it on from the back, you dont have to open it up as much.
I'm thinking of getting this as my Steelseries Arctis 1 battery is going am I better get the Pulse Elite or the Upgraded version of my Steelseries

Had first gaming session with it last night. Sound definitely lives up to the hype but in about a 4 hour session it disconnected randomly twice and both times I had to unplug the link dongle and resync it again.
I do have a ps5 slim so the usb-a ports are located in the back. I noticed the dongle was fairly warm with the fan directly blowing on the location of the ports (stupid design).
Hoping it’s not a trend.
I had this happen to me as well. I was playing Persona and it just randomly disconnected and it wouldn’t want to sync back unless I unplug the link adapter. So far that’s my only complaint about it but other than that everything is great, I hope maybe they can fix this in a patch update.
@@chefman470 yeah I was very discouraged at first but then it didn’t do it again for the last 2ish hours I played. So hoping it was just a bug. The heat of the dongle from being plugged into the usb-a port in the back of the slim is somewhat worrying though. May have to get a usb-a to c adapter to avoid damaging the ps link
I'm having the same issue, it's annoying because I've got no complaints about them. The sound quality is incredible and you ensured a quality product especially when it's got the “Sony” branding on it. I’ve read multiple threads on twitter and Reddit and thousands of people are having the same issue, the headset just randomly disconnects without reason. Hopefully sony fixes the issue with a simple fix because I’m on the verge of sending them back.
@@WillIsTheGaffa yeah I told myself I’d give them another week cause I have the 30 day return window. If they continue to do it I’ll definitely be returning them. Like you said though, if that issue is fixed I would highly recommend them. The quality seems great for the price tag

Same as other accessories. It will have the orange color while charging. If no light it’s charged.
The H9 was great if you can adjust the EQ on the ps5, its a shame you can't change it 😢

Unfortunately it doesn't, PlayStation headsets only work for PlayStation consoles

It does via the headphones jack can't change eq or use 3d sound haven't tried it with blue tooth to Xbox but jt works. Series x and ps5 and cell phone

You can buy a usb-c to usb-a adapter to use the ports in front of the PS5

To connect to your PS5 you DO need the ‘PS Link’ dongle. For connecting to a mobile device it just connects through Bluetooth and does not require anything more than just the headset and the device. Hope that helps!😊
How do I connect the headset to my iPhone? I’ve been trying to figure out for awhile
Press and hold the power/ link button for 8 seconds. It will make different sounds to confirm what it’s doing. When I got them out the box first thing I did was connecting it to the phone. It was very easy. If you in your phone Bluetooth’s settings already, just press the button till you see PULSE Elite showing up.
Audio from Bluetooth will be controlled by phone only. volume buttons on headphones will only control the volume to what it’s connected via dongle.
Remember if you in a game session with people in chat, and you take a call on your phone everyone will hear you.

I tried them, returned them. Not bad but didn’t feel it was an upgrade from my Corsair virtuoso xt
If you want better immersion, but don’t know how to configure EQs, just go with the bass boost.

My Pulse 3D cup pleather wore out and flaked real bad but I was able to replace the cups with new ones. It’s not looking like this is an option with my Elites, bit concerning
Wicked cushions will have replacements hopefully in a couple months.

Such a shame how limited ps5 is for audio! Hate it. Wanted the nova pro wireless as my mate got one but on ps5 it sounds no better than my 7 when i borrowed it! Dont get any of the decent audio features at all. Saved money but disappointed!
If the cups was replaceable it would be better..now after heavy use probably it will not be good..

i should've waited and got these instead of the earbuds. i don't care for the ear buds, gets uncomfortable after about 30 minutes.
Just got these today. EXTREMELY uncomfortable if you’re using PSVR2. If you put them over the headset there is a big gap allowing sound in and the sound is horrible. With it under the headset the sound is astonishing but the headset pushes the ear cups into your ear and it hurts within about 30 minutes. They do sound unbelievably awesome though. If you’re not using PSVR, I suppose they’d be ok. Problem is they slide all over the place while on your head. I tilted my head forward and back just a little and they moved a lot. You’ll be making a lot of adjustments while playing. Guess I’ll
Be trying out the Pulse earbuds next. If they don’t work, it’s back to my $30 Amazon headphones which are extremely comfortable and sound decent enough.

Mine keeps disconnecting from my ps5 and i have to do a full reset to get them working again. Also the h9 mic sucks, it will pick up everything even on the lowest mic volume setting. Sound is good though

@markbarnes2308 I did a full wipe of the headset and dongle so my phone can be unpaired and that seemed to fix it. It might be an issue with the Bluetooth and dongle being paired at the same time

It took me 2hr just to get them to pair they sound like shit when I Bluetooth them to my phone and they cut in and out about ten times in 5hr of game play when in game it sounds pretty clear

@@djm24able it all came down to comfort for me, personally they were just too uncomfortable and bulky/heavy, which obviously isn't ideal for gaming.
Has anyone got a decent EQ settings, I couldn’t wait for this headset but when I tried it last night I was honestly so disappointed, I mainly play cod and my god they sound awful, I can’t hear anything, I’ve tried different combinations but all really sounds the same,

I just bought them and was so hyped to finally get them and test them out. I was disappointed mainly with the sound quality. Too loud with a crispy cheap sound quality that makes your guns sounds like a joke. The original 3D pulse are better. Plus the bass when flying down from blackout or war zone sounds like your bass is blown out so bad. Smh. I want another platinum or to try zone h9.

What went through the creators mind to make everything White as default? Black should have been default and White after market
i think they wanted to switch up the aesthetic for the ps5 versus the past consoles which were predominantly black.

I had the pulse elite for 1 day and returned it. Here's why:
1 the lack of bass, there's no bass at all only highs and mids.
2 the comfort, they are uncomfortable and don't feel right.
3 the ratteling noise of the earcups, they are to lose and feel so weak.
4 the random disconnecting, they loos connection couple times every hour.
5 the lights on the headset are in the vision of the player.
6 they are not fit good with the psvr2.
7. No replaceable ear pads.
Save your money and buy another headset!!
