I worked at a comic convention and got to meet some actors, the ones who didn't stay for the after parties were just like this lmao but the ones who stayed were really chill and fun. but this made me laugh so hard

The only actors I’ve ever met at comic-con were Charles Martinet, David Hayter, and Steve Blum. (all are voice actors but whatever) I didn’t really talk to Steve Blum because I was more just along for the ride with a friend but when I met David Hayter and Charles Martinet their lines were fully empty so I got to just chat with them for a few minutes and both of them were such sweethearts and I hope I can meet them again some day. None of the fake humility bullshit, just genuine down to earth people. I’d imagine it has something to do with how voice actors are less recognized due to not having their physical appearances tied to their performance. Because while probably more people know Mario than Iron Man, I’d be willing to bet far more people know RDJ than Charles Martinet. Plus one of the best part about both of them was you could really tell how much they truly loved doing what they do. Great guys, if you ever see them at a con and are a fan of their work, definitely go meet them.
