You need to remove everything so you can replace the coupling and inspect and clean if necessary. You can't hold the fan and unscrew the coupling it doesn't work that way.

You can check at your local appliance store or a hardware or online.
Amazon....two for $12.
Why for you do all that work?? Just hold the fan and unscrew the broken coupling....no need to disassemble the motor.
