True story: I'm not a fan of traditional sports so my only exposure to Joe Tessitore is from a mini golf show called Holey Moley LOL. He did a great job on that, so I'll open to seeing what he does in WWE.

My Wife and Son were both at All In and both said that the Mercedes Mone match was super boring and the worst match of the night 🤷🏻♂️
She's right about the fatigue. We were absolutely knackered when their match started and, even though I stayed put from start to finish, it seemed to be when almost everyone in my section and others went to the loo/concessions.
It didn't help that the match was a bore. Looks like fans were disinterested in this match from the get go I def would of taken the chance to make a bathroom run

WWEs commentary team across the board is as good as it’s ever been. Cole, Pat, Graves, Barrett, even Vic and Booker in NXT. Not sure if it’s just the talent being that good or not having Vince in their ear, or both.
Mercedes coping hard on this one. The Jack Perry and Darby match got louder pop and The world title match got bigger pops than her she just isn’t the star she thinks she is.

Have people not seen the same All In I've seen? In regards to the crowd, they were DEFINITELY chanting CEO and DMD at times. In regards to the match, in my opinion, it was fine but it wasn't built up well. It felt like a Dynamite match and not a PPV match. Crowd did pop for the Eddie Guerrero spot though.
However, I will say this and this is just my opinion:
The entire controversy with Britt Baker coupled with Mercedes having sub-par matches on TV definitely soured peoples' tastes and made people not care for either of them and not care for the match itself. I don't think the two gel together as well as others make it out to be. They both need the right opponents for the them to shine.
I am not saying both aren't any good because I've seen them wrestle some great matches. It's just A LOT of the wrestling fanbase (both AEW and WWE) either REALLY REALLY like both of them or REALLY REALLY hate both of them and want them both to go away and never wrestle again. You know who you are.
Nah the problem is mercedes, that's it. that could have been good if mercedes knows acutally how to cut a promo, giving substance to reply for Britt in the build up but instead she just talk in circle like a 16y old teen, her character whatever that is, isn't working. she just look stupid. it's a turn off for most fans except her stans. so why fans should be invested in what she does.. fans popped for the spot itself, not bc of mercedes or baker. I think mercedes don't realize AEW fanbase is not like the WWE fanbase.. they aren't child or casuals. AEW fans audience are definitely more mature & u can't fool them with your bullshit or bc you have an expensive outfit. she didn't adapt to the environnement & it showed. Mercedes feuds in the future are gonna be the same crap with 0 reaction if she doesn't change something about her character.
as for the in ring part, it's prob mercedes's idea trying to have a STARDOM match & doing overcomplicated stuff with a novice like Britt.. Not smart at all. Fans just wanted to see action, not technical wrestling specially after an Ospreay match lol.. Britt in the past had good matches with street fight, brawl matches to hide her weeknesses. that should have been that but bc mercedes is a mark for herself. You know the rest..

Sasha has easily become the fourth best out of the Four Horsewoman. Bayley has surpassed in her every way. Becky has always been the best. And Charlotte is one of the best in ring ever.

I really like the combo of Graves and Michael Cole, but Barret is a solid color commentator. I am glad McAfee is gone, even if it's only temporary, I just don't care for his commentary. I understand why some people do, he has good energy , but he's not a good foil for Michael Cole. Graves and Barret are better at giving voice to the heels.
I think Solo as the tribal chief is a swerve. I think Jacob and the Tongans are really working for the Rock.

Mercedes would've been better off going back to WWE. She's already at the top of AEW and will stay there for as long as she's there which just makes her presence and character uninteresting to me. In WWE there's fresh new faces with her to interact with and plenty of old storylines they an pick back up to where she would be wrestling interesting matches for plenty of time to come.

I really enjoyed her rematch with Willow and I feel Willow would have been a better opponent for Mercedes for All In. I understand people would have questioned why Willow again but they could have had a reason for her.

Mercedes just becomes more unlikable every single day. The match was horrible and nobody was chanting either and their names. Her ego is massive and she is god awful on the mic. Nobody is saying she’s not great in the ring but like jeez is she new to the wrestling business or something? You have a horrible match people talk about it.

Frankly, hardly anyone online was saying Mercedes couldn't wrestle after her Double or Nothing match against Willow. But as soon as she has a poor match against Britt (who in many ways was carried by Mercedes during that match), we all of a sudden get "Mercedes was never that good" or "Mercedes can't wrestle" remarks from goofy wrestling chuds who never truly cared about Mercedes' career after WWE to begin with and only now found a way to dogpile her all because she decided to stand up for herself against Vince and his (at the time) corporate system as a Black Woman Wrestler.
I'm certain that Mercedes will have better matches in the near future, and I don't say that as a stan of hers, I say that because everyone with the ability of sight and common sense can clearly see she has taken numerous women in WWE, NJPW, Stardom, Willow, and Shida to great if not excellent matches throughout her somewhat short 12 year career. Mercedes is a legend and will always be one regardless of what any goofy weirdo wants to yap about in any online comment section.
And when it somes to Britt, she needed more time to get off her ringrust before she ever competed in any high stakes match on a PPV in my opinion. And while I won't comment on any rumors regarding her supposed backstage behavior, I for one can certainly agree and understand the sentiment that her heart just wasn't in it during their All In match unfortunately.
I think we all know mercedes's a tremendous performer in the ring BUT the problem is her character work including her mic skills, that's a turn off & why she got hate.. She doesn't seems like she care about improving her character work either, she knows she is a big name anyway & can do whatever she wants bc Tony love her even if she give us shitty content.

I’m still not sure why the TBS title match got so much hate, like it wasn’t great but it had some really fun spots, a solid 6/10 match. The only other time I can remember a wrestler doing this was the Uso match at WM which was 90% super kicks.
As someone who was there. The crowd was absolutely dead because they wrestled on the ground for 90% of the match and followed the best match of the night. But, both have a reputation to be a backstage cancer, which really hurts when you’re supposed to be a face.

Whats the problem? this was no different than Bailey vs nia jax at summerslam…..last match til main event…..alot of folks need to reup at consessions or use the bathroom…..well, there was one difference…at summerslam everyone came back for main event…..maybe 20% didnt just leave the premises for aew. . Truth be told i have fast forwarded every single match this woman has ever been in. I can say that about her opponent as well, though Mone certainly is a way better wrestler and actually wrestles from what ive seen at x 8 speed. That TBS Title feud was one of the storylines I was least into going into All In, but honestly I feel like that was more Britt's fault than Mercedes'. Not sure why wrestlers even respond to the criticism anymore. Sadly, many of the worst parts of wrestling have to do with the fans being miserable, nothing is ever good enough, I know more than the professionals, pains in the rear. Don't get me wrong, everyone is entitled to an opinion. But, wrestling fans will take the negative view of everything. Regardless of if it is something was good or not. I used to be guilty of it. So, I get why you are this way. Sadly, you are just ruining your own experience. Enjoy hating the thing you invest your time, and money into. Sounds miserable. But, that tracks for wrestling fans.
I watch all wrestling and find a way to enjoy most of it. Really isn't that difficult.
