We spent a week on Bucerías. First, it was the first time ever being pulled over by police (5th time driving through Mexico) and for what I don’t know. And I speak Spanish. Bucerías, at least on the beach side of the highway, is overrun by white haired Canadians that have zero desire to speak even basic Spanish. We witnessed a gringo on the other side of the highway trying to order food in English to no avail. Finally he stopped saying shrimp and started saying “camaroon” which is an African country 😂 The word he was looking for was cameron. He seemed to live there. We kept seeing him around and called him Camaroon Dave. 😅
