I got a 2 evl 12s setup on an audio legion 2500 at a half ohm I'll be at made of steel this year, should be doing 147ish in the low 30s it's an absolute lows monster

Thats my car in the video I currently have a skar sk3500.1 on my evl's now does a 149.1 clamped at 1906 watts wired to .5ohms

This goes to show you that you don't always have to upgrade your electrical and spend thousands and thousands. I have a 2k rms system with four 10s and only upgrade I've added is an additional battery. Walmart battery under the hood and xs power in the trunk.
Your xs will drain your standard battery under the hood unless u have an isolator..trust me been down that road switched to xs under hood and xs in cab no isolator and no more issues

My 1500.1 smelled bad until the sub broke in, no smell and gets nasty loud. Insane shit for 1 12.

How come my evl12s sound like they are distorted or clipping? I checked all my wires and still sound like they wanna blow when I turn my bass knob up
Gain too high? Bass in HU too high? Bass boost on amp in use?
You need to set your low pass filter on the amp for around 80 hz max and turn off bass boost and adjust your gain
Yea your setting are deff off I’m over recommended power on mine no issues are your head until settings not zeroed out even bad box size or port area can make any sub sound trash or like that
learn how to correctly set the gain n youll be good
my sdr 15 just did that a couple of days ago and thought my shit was about to blow but today it did it for 30 minutes and then stopped. I've played it for 3 hours after that and it never came back. I'm guessing I just really broke the sub in and it's hitting even harder now. maybe that might be the problem.

Never heard those skars. But I have the HDX312 and it’s stupid on a Ap1800 for just being a single 12
Jay2552 I would recommend the Skar ZVX, I would get them with around a 3k watt amp Skar is a good company they get very loud
I own the 6.5 EVL. It’s pretty nice. I’m looking at upgrading to a 18” and I can’t see myself spending $880 on a Sundown X 18” when you got SQ, Skar, and whoever coming in around $300
American bass hands down is a better budget banger for your money than both brands mentioned!!!

If SPL is your goal, chances are you'll want to tune around there.
If ur facing the trunk of a car 40hz would sound good with a low qts sub like this in a small box because of cabin gain. It will still get low but be really punchy and tight and accurate not muddy

@@JacobViral i got 2 evls , wanna build a box.. u think i should tune to 32 ? I got a accord and want the sero port shooting out like this. Build back in the day and made my shit hit way harder but this time i building for 2 subs, like 40 W x 20 L x 15 H.. 15 highest i can go length a bit more and width a bit more i can go but around those measurements will fit.
You think if i build a big box it will hitharder then my evls do in the box they came in from skar ?
