- Rob from CelebHeights with a look at Nike Blazer Low, seeing how much height this sneaker gives you.
The sole on the Blazer looks pretty thick, but is it even an inch in thickness?
This was the Low model of the Blazer, called Vintage 77.
I'd say it was almost 1.7cm, right between 0.6-0.7 inches when new. I'd expect after months of wear the Nike Blazers will end up 0.5-0.6 inches.

Rob I recently got a pair of Skechers UNO and was delighted to discover they gave me 4cm of actual height! However after a few days they already dropped to 3.5cm, is this normal due to the memory foam?
That material is a lot more compressive than many other insoles, so it's not a big surprise they dropped a fraction.

hi I am also planning to buy skechers uno and ı read in the skechers official website that they actually give 4.6 cm. Dropping to 3.5 cm is quite shocking. Is shoes still hold on that range? or they drooped much? Thanks
Hey Rob I'm wondering how one even walks comfortably in elevator shoes, especially those that are in the 3-4 inch range? I've tested one out before(measured 194-195 in them) and it feels pretty awkward at first until you walk around more.
The ones that give 3.75-4 inches are too high to be anything but a slog when wearing them for prolonged periods.
Ones in 2-2.5 range that are proper fitting are more comfortable, but still take getting used to.
@@RobPaul yeah the bigger ones are maybe just to wear once in a while. I've tried some 2.5 inch elevators and they are way more comfortable to walk around in

Some people when lying down can measure taller, although personally I found not much difference.

Depends on how much growth u had recently. On average u might still grow 1 more cm, but if ur a late bloomer then a few more cm is possible
with some good nutrition and supplements you can reach 190cm

Hi rob, i want to confirm how tall I am but not on celebheights, I have 2 images of me in front of a mirror with my phone(both taken on roughly 8mm thick carpet underlay and in socks flat footed at roughly 5pm woke up at 6am so is this an extreme low as i played football and basketball? can i send these photos on email as it is easier?

You should measure your height on a flat floor, 8 mm is nearly 1 cm so it can be slightly inaccurate, socks shouldn’t really matter unless they have lifts or are thick wool socks

He stood under a stadiometer, which revealed his height. I'm surprised he is claiming 6ft these days.

@GregLurik Official yeah, somewhere between 5ft 8 and 5ft 9 would be a good estimate for Tarif. While he did measure 177ish under the stadiometer, given the lines on Rob's video where Tarif measured himself, Tarif didn't even clear the 5ft 9 line, which suggests that he could be 5ft 8 ½. That's the highest I would go for him, and at lowest 5ft 8 flat.

Is it considered cheating if you tilt up your forehead while measuring yourseld? I've discovered that I measure taller when doing that (when facing the wall) - my forehead is rather big.
For me when I tilt my head up I’m shorter than without, for me titling my head down makes me taller. Seems weird but the back of the skull is the top of my skull if that make sense. Just look at Andrew Tate head shape and that’s what i have

Yea, that's why I think it's bullshit that everyone has to stand in the same stance when measured at their GP. It's not optimal for all people
@@MrKarlozz especially with taller individuals. I realise that most short people have flat heads, or round heads, and tall people have oval heads or egg heads.
Like the other guy said I have a skull where the top of my head is towards the back. So when I measure myself I get taller measurements if I look down and up shorter etc. I generally just measure myself looking straight and that’s my height.

Courts add almost 2.5 cm and old skools only add 1.8 cm. Those are fresh out the box as well, after months of wearing, they can lose a couple mm

Hello Rob! Hope you’re doing well. With good posture, I have a maximum out of bed height of 5’11.25 (181cm) & a minimum retired height at 5’10.5 (179cm).
These measurements may be +- few millimetres but I’m just curious where would you place me of such height in your celebheights page?¿

You would probably get the 5'10.5, as listings tend to be near the low, but you'll be more "solid" than most of the people who share that listing

Rob I’m about 174 out of bed and 172 at a low I’m 16 and 4 months I was 5’7 1/4 at low at the start of the year and 5’8 flat outta bed. (I used to claim 5-8 as my morning height now I say about 5-8 or just barely 5’8 although I’m slim built with muscle and usually get guessed in the 5’9-10 range. I didn’t grow for many months this year but now I’m starting to hit a bit of growth again my wingspan is also in the 5’11-11.5 range. Dad is 5’11 3/4 peak mom is 5’1 3/4 peak ( both lost a small fraction) do you think I can hit 5’10 ?
On average (based on age and parents), I'd say 177-8 is still quite possible, especially if you feel you are still gaining height.
I guess I grew about 1/2 an inch in 8 months not complaining 🤷
it could be down to when you measured yourself or measuring issues, or you could have got taller, honestly there is no point asking Rob because everyones genetics are different. It just sounds like you want to hear that you will get taller lol. I stopped growing when I was 14 but I have a cousin who was 5'2 till 16 then grew to 6'3, everyones different and you cant predict it. Maybe New Balance. I had 608's at one point. I'm 179-180 and was definitely 6'0 in those. I have Adidas skate shoes now and I'm pushing 6'0 in these. Maybe 5'11 3/4 during afternoon and 5'11 1/2 at night.

Exercise can quicken our daily shrinkage, so you could end up closer to your low earlier in the day.
It won't effect out of bed height though, unless your sleep is being interrupted.

Hello Rob, please help me, I am 25 years old and currently I weigh 550 lbs. Now I measure 181.3 cm in the afternoon, but some years ago when I was slim (I weighened only 190 lbs back then) I was 182.3 cm back then in the afternoon as well measuring at similar hours (4-5 hours after bad as I do now for measurements) ...
Could I got shorter because my spine is compressed due to being severely obese? Is that normal with 300 pounds of extra weight to lose half an inch of height like in my case? Will I come back to my old height again when losing weight? Does it mean that my true native height is 182 cm? Am I really got shorter or it's the huge weight that is compressing me being unable to stand straight when measuring myself?
Carrying a lot of weight may well have an impact on not only ability to stand as tall as possible for a measurement, but the actual joints and discs.
I hope you can work towards your target weight, as I wouldn't be surprised if you could regain a fraction.

Since now I am 181.3 cm after 4 to 6 hours after bad, I could go back right to 182 cm at the same time of measurement as I was back then If I lose those extra 300lbs, right?

Rob, can body tension make you lose height at age 20s
It's extremely rare to lose height in 20's, but of course injuries or really bad habits might cause a small proportion to suffer.
But body tension? Maybe it could effect your ability to stand at your tallest for a measurement, rather than any actual height loss?
No one should be shrinking in 20s naturally, unless like Rob said its from an injury

You might be 5ft 8.5 for a good chunk of the day and could go with it.
I've heard some people use Five-Eight/Nine as a claim, when they fall somewhere between the two marks for a measurement.

I have a 4.75 ish eyeline (sometimes nearer 5 inches) I’m around 5’8) average is no less then 4.5 inches for a man, I’d guess your a minimum of 5’9 but you could easily be 5’9.5-5’10 even. Unless you are raising your eye line a bit when measuring in which case you may actually be sub 5’9

That’s definitely tall if you’re in the US or UK, it’s about 90th percentile, I’m 6’0 3/4 and my eyelevel is right about average height, i have a 4.5 inch eye level

If you look at Tristan Tate with Steven seagal, you’ll notice Tristan is a strong 6’4,
so Andrew is 1 inch shorter in comparison to Tristan.
So Andrew is defo 6’3.
He usually looks around 1.5-2 inches shorter though I have seen some photos where he looks within 1 or even 1/2 and inch of his brother

Ideally UK 8.5 (9.5US), but if slightly narrow I would always go with a 9. About half my collection is split 8.5 or 9UK
