Taco, there are people who would give you a lot for that Singer, just so they could rehab and use it. Those old machines can sew Leather, if you put in the right needle. Great Find!
I agree. The base looks like it’s for a treadle machine, foot powered with no need for a motor. They are very desirable because people use them during power outages and just for fun.
I used to know a man, who would restore the old machines. He sold them at the flea market. He said he would sell them faster than he could find them. They are still popular.
My mother had a singer sewing machine like that when I was a kid. I am now 74 yrs old. She made myself and my siblings clothes. When I see those old machines, it brings back so many memories.❤️👍🏼
Taco stacks! Taco stacks! Taco stacks! For the win of the day ! Thanks for taking us along!!! I appreciate you so much!!!! So glad you found so much stuff!!! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!!
Taco those clothespins are probably the good old ones that actually work. They sell for good money. I use them at my Ca. home as line drying is quick to dry there. Buying new clothespins are poorly made, not as long, and fall apart. So, they may look like trash but they are gold!
You are the “chair”man of the stools! Those really come in handy when you’re short. I know I’m short and have several around the house. You got some good stuff today
You are a rarity on RUclips, both entertaining and informative. The old sewing machine and the stools are sweet finds. Thanks for an awesome treasure hunt TS.
I have an old machine and you can left up the two levers in the back of the machine and you can take the machine out to make it lighter. And the frame is worth around 50-100 dollars and the drawer are about 5-20 dollars each. Hope this helps
Those sewing machines are terribly heavy...still have my mother's old machine and it still in working condition. The miles I put on that thing...thanks for the ride and conversation...and for sharing your day...🥰🥰
Afternoon ! Should always take wood 😃 Crafters and woodworkers always buy wood . Sells very well in our sales and flea markets . Great Pick ! Have a wonderful Day 😄
Good find, the Singer, machine probably no good, but the stand, complete with fly wheel is worth a lot! Just remove the top and machine and sell it like that, you’ll find it’s worth something
Singer machines were the top of the line, and as far as the wheelbarrow goes, if you put it to the curb, it's fair game. Old wheelbarrows are not display units!
I sell those individual sewing machine drawers here in Oklahoma. Try it at your Flea Market and if they don’t sell, then you can toss them. I also sold an old machine that didn’t work for $5.00.
I liked the white metal rack. Looked like a store display piece at 6:36 , well made. You should sell it, don't scrap it please. Sell the metal base to the Singer. Yes, they do sell. People put a table top on them. I have sold several over the years. Yeah Taco!!!
Hey don't take the Singer sewing machine metal on it apart sell it all together. I know it weighs a lot but there I people who will give you good money for the metal base intact. Really think about it. No one wants just the Singer word off of it.
The metal for old sewing machines in the drawer's cell very good I get 10 bucks A drawer and 50 bucks for the middle sides Add a good flea market to make a table
Hi Taco. My mom had an old singer . My sister used it a lot and would have it going so fast ,and one time she was doing that and looked away for a few seconds and ended up sewing the skin in between her fingers. It was horrible to see . My mom was like how in the world did you manage that. After that she didn’t make it go as fast. It was so gross. Take care. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Those 4 chairs you picked up with the white cushions why didn't you take the cushions they were nice thick ones why do you pass stuff that goes with what you pick up makes me wonder 🤔I sure hope you sell those chairs instead of throwing them in the dump..
I would error on the side of caution with the wheel barrow, but if they didn't put a "do not take" sign on it what did they expect the garbage man was going to do? I've seen other videos of yours where people put "don't take garbage can" signs on their cans, so without a sign on the wheel barrow how is anyone going to magically know that person wasn't intending to throw it out? Some people.... The singer was a great find - I've never used an old machine like that, but have seen so many awesome things made out of the bases!
Thanks!
Thank you!
The four swivel chairs at the beginning looked to be in good shape, I wouldn’t be scrapping those

I couldn’t give mine away and it was in almost prefect condition back in 2017 when I was moving. 2 weeks free on Facebook then out for trash it went.

In my area, the base alone goes for $100!
Wow❣️ I enjoyed seeing that old “Singer” sewing machine. 👍😍
Quite the haul today. It was fun tagging along.
Taco, thank you for the greatest venture. You got a Van full today, good for you. Give cells a hug and a kiss and let her run, let turn.😊😊😊😊😊
I used to know a man, who would restore the old machines. He sold them at the flea market. He said he would sell them faster than he could find them. They are still popular.
That was pretty much unrestorable.

Yes! I also hang my clothes outside! I always look for the older clothespins at thrift stores and yard sales!
You are the “chair”man of the stools! Those really come in handy when you’re short. I know I’m short and have several around the house. You got some good stuff today
Those lawn chairs were a great find. The sewing machine looked like a real piece of junk.
Be safe out there and enjoy the sunrise when you catch it - -

In England it's a holiday weekend from Friday to Monday and it's been a wet holiday weekend. Music festivals cancelled, camp sites flooded
I had one of those sewing machine bases I put a wooden top stencil it with French style stencils and sold it for 75 dollars
Loved this Taco. You picked up a lot of stuff. Good for you! I commend you on not taking the wheelbarrow. Love ya! 😘❤️💞💞✌️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
If you ever see an old sewing machine with an Egyptian motif on it , grab it ! They are very sought after and valueable .
Some people still make tables with the singer sewing machine bases. Glad you picked that up. I was wondering why you didn’t take the wheelbarrow. 😂
That Singer botton can be used to make a table. Someone should definitely want it.
I'd buy that Singer sewing stand from you if I lived closer.
Hello, Taco Stacks! ☺️👋
I made a table with the base of that sewing machine. The drawers I displayed old buttons and hung on the wall.
Good haul!👍👏

We need a new bingo board...no fan, lamp, ironing board or grill.
Looks like a stool day too 👍😁
So many interpretations 🤣😄😂
Treadle sewing machines are the dream for a lot of us, Supurb find.
@@TermaMary I found one totally destroyed, I took the wood off and put a marble top on it👍🤓👍 great stand
Great haul.👍🏼
As a former Slate Belt resident, it’s fun to watch and see places that I knew exactly where you were at. Keep up the good work and good videos !!
Oh wow! That Singer machine is amazing… I even want to call it beautiful!. They do t make them like that anymore
As for that wheelbarrow the person should have put a note on it saying leave the wheelbarrow. Maybe it would still be there
The trials and tribulations of Taco and his dog Salsa, what a team , WHAT A TEAM :-)
What a load you got today!
GREAT video TACO 🌮👍
Another successful treasure hunt. That singer machine might sell okay. Some people like a fix up project.
Those chairs would sell well at flea market
I liked the white metal rack. Looked like a store display piece at 6:36 , well made. You should sell it, don't scrap it please. Sell the metal base to the Singer. Yes, they do sell. People put a table top on them. I have sold several over the years. Yeah Taco!!!
Very nice footstools that get $5 a piece Is very nice vintage
Save the whole base, the side legs sell for 50 -100
They make great tables
I would have put in something I wanted to keep or put a sign on it.
Someone buy the old sewing machine legs
Liked those chairs
Hellow buddy good luck
You sure filled up your van 🚐, Taco!
It was a good haul. enjoyed the ride along
May be try oiling the hinge on the door.
Hey don't take the Singer sewing machine metal on it apart sell it all together. I know it weighs a lot but there I people who will give you good money for the metal base intact. Really think about it. No one wants just the Singer word off of it.

Looks like the mother load today,💰💰🤠🇬🇧👏👍🏻👍🏻🌞
I learned to saw on that model machine!

People throw away better stuff than I own
There would be no way to know the home owner wants to keep the wheelbarrow unless there's a sign on it. I don't blame you for leaving it.
Those 4 chairs you picked up with the white cushions why didn't you take the cushions they were nice thick ones why do you pass stuff that goes with what you pick up makes me wonder 🤔I sure hope you sell those chairs instead of throwing them in the dump..
Go to one of those pick-a-part places and get a used one. It will be about 1/10th of the price of a new one!
Crazy is my house this past week, someone took our whole trash can. Wheel barrow at the street with trash? fair game, imho.
I would error on the side of caution with the wheel barrow, but if they didn't put a "do not take" sign on it what did they expect the garbage man was going to do? Cool finds. Its a wheelbarrow, i agree rather leave.
I have that clothes rack. It is from the 50s. People thinking of the planet will use them (I hope)
Great Video!
Ring that bell
Take apart the sewing machine and you could make some money.
Any thing in question I leave. If it was meant to go it will be out there a the next day.
