    Hi BOC:
Nice looking Fly, thanks for sharing. I will cut the hair extending past eye as last unit operation, rather than earlier to facilitate whip.

Thanks for getting back to me. Is it the extra large peacock eyes you get. Cheers for the help.

At 5:40 this fly in a sized 18 or 20 would be incredible as a substitute for an rs2 or similar here in colorado...the deer wing has such cool color variations...with the wing just a tad closer to the eye...super simple...but I'm sure would be effective...
On a good fall day I will go through 6 to 10 droppers of this sort...having a producer that's also an easy tie is always a winner...
Of course the finished fly is nice too...I always learn so much in the progress of these ties
    Lots of possibilities...thanks

I know the euro anglers have opportunities to fish some bigger flies than we do in the Rockies...but maybe you could do a few emergers like we use in our droppers here...your tutorials on the larger nymphs are spot on for our top flies...maybe just a few of the 16 to 20s for the bottom guy...
      Thank you...t

Hi Chris, thanks. The stripped quill is from Veniard, so you should be able to get it from any Veniard stockist.

Hi Richard, yes, but only on patterns that require a tight straight hackle collar.
