Hi ladies.....great shopping with you again. Danni I have to agree with you on the pricing at the goodwills. Some of their prices are entirely too high and I feel they are charging too much not just for a resaler but also a regular shopper

I sold tupperware in the 80's, the orange canister u had in your hands... all the canisters came with label sheets of different ingredients that you could put into the canisters so you could label what was in there... long before cricket or label makers. Aka flour sugar code brown sugar powdered sugar tea Yada yada. So the label on the canisters was authentic frome tupperware

The bohemian Czech pitcher and glasses were amazing! If the leaves were 24k gold it would of been worth it. After a extensive Google search a similar set went for $179 but the Ebay comp was an old one so the history of date sold was missing. You two crack me up!
It's so cute the way you and Kari play off each other's strengths and have a good time together. I was in a thrift store today, and left with a 4' tall ship, but I noticed the music. The ambient music was loud enough, but then customers were "testing" electronics. I could only image the difficulty in filming under those circumstances without a post production voice over. I wish people would understand how difficult it is to film in the wild, not a closed store turned set, since you have to be aware of the copyright, filming other people, etc. Danni does a great job in that regard, and she can talk all she wants on her own video.
People who are trying to bully Danni and Kari by interjecting themselves into their relationship need to stop. Kari is not a woman without her own voice, and someone like Danni who helps people for free on this channel and in her past career would never want to silence another person. We can't hear Kari because she's not wearing a mic tied into the camera phone, but she does have a voice, and if she were in need of assistance, she could use her own voice. Please stop bullying both of these lovely ladies and move on to another channel that's more suited to your interest level. Life is too short to worry about others who are just fine -- just look at their body language and the tells in the way they interact as there's no animosity between them at all.
One other thing that I wanted to add, and correct my spelling of Kari in one instance now that I'm on a computer and not a tablet :), is the pricing can be crazy, and in my area thrift stores want the wealthier consumer, not exactly a charity shop model with individually priced items. Pricing is outrageous in some respects, and my main pet peeve with that is the fake items are priced where one could think that they may be real. I have talked more people out of fake LV, Gucci, Valentino, etc., in a local thrift store, yet saw a lady buying fake Louboutins for $50/pair, and another woman was upset that she missed out. I told her that they were fake an explained why, and one key reason was the lack of a box with unworn shoes -- they were likely purchased as fakes from certain websites and didn't fit well, but they were not worth $50/pair -- and the color of the dust bag was off and the printing was skewed, not something that you'd get for $700-$900 shoes from an authorized outlet. It's one thing to disclaim that they don't authenticate merchandise in store, but do for the website, and another to price the fakes to make someone think that they could be real because they are trading on a brand name. If they were priced at $8.99 or $9.99/pair, fine, since it's less waste, but that's about the worth for unworn obvious fakes that would look good enough when worn, but were not worth $50/pair by any stretch. Yet, they will then price a mass produced poster print in an Ikea frame at $29.99, when I think it sold for less at Ikea.

Danni doesn't need bullying and critic about the music and talking, she does a huge service for us by teaching, and even (for me) for those who can't get out of the house to go to the thrift stores. I just don't understand why independent content creators are being harassed as if they are a "reality" television program where everything, including the "finds," are "helped" by producers and scripts, to the point where it's expected to have a full camera crew and scripted dialogue amongst the cast. I can't stand those fake reality programs, even if they showcase some interesting items because of the viewer manipulation.
Those modernist bud vases..I about jumped off my chair! I found one exactly like that minus the etching while thrifting in Denmark a few years back..it has a sticker on it that says Lisbeth Dahl….Etsy has some similar ones for sale. Thank you for the fun content 😊
Loved your spree and all the fun things you and Keri picked up today. Agree - Goodwill needs to price things to get them off their shelves. They serve no purpose pricing them so high and then having the items sit on the shelves, damaged and end up being tossed out.

The square glass pieces are vases for a one stem flower. My Grandma had one. At least that is what she used hers for.

Our good will looks at the current ebay listing, not the sold comps. The cashier said he looks stuff up. I looked it up and told her what he was looking up. She mentioned there was still stuff in ther glass case that has been there the entire 2 years she has been there. I have yet to meet a floor worker that agrees with the ebay pricing method.
I am with you on the pricing, all the things are donated to them and many things in our stores are priced more than you could buy for at retail! Really enjoy watching you girls

Hey Danni, consider picking up the Hargrove next time. He is a known artist. He was known for this type of genre: 'A serigraph is a reproduction of original artwork using a well-curated and highly sophisticated silk-screen printing method. The process is called serigraphy and famous artists utilize the process to produce limited edition art prints for sale.' There can be some money to be made depending on subject matter if the buy in is low. The horse race scene looked good.

Bottom line is these items were donated. When they sell them, it doesn't matter who they sell them to as long as the money is going to goodwill. If they over price them, no money goes to goodwill and they end up being put in bins or discarded. It's nice at least to help the reseller out and a large number of people that shop there are resellers. They will lose a lot of business if they overprice and the resellers go elsewhere.
I had a manager at a local thrift shop comment to me that they DON'T CARE IF DEALERS BOUGHT THEIR ITEMS OR SHOPPED IN THEIR STORE. THAT THEY WEREN'T THERE TO BE A DEALERS OUTLET.
I smiled at her as I explained that without resellers half or more of their DONATED items would NEVER sell.. That they should be extremely happy for resellers giving them their business. Regular customers don't want or need to overload their homes with misc decor. They only have limited space in their homes and they also are less likely to pay some of their prices.
Yes I agree that they are getting ridiculous in the pricing, so I refuse to pay it..someone else can pay that or they can, in time, throw it away and make nothing... I will wait for the garage sales to start..

The difference between hoarding and collecting is a theme -- hoarding is mess and clutter, whereas collecting may look cluttered, but one can see the gems. I keep telling myself that, and that my garage is a tardis. :)

My Goodwill here in southern WI does not have enough shelf space for the amount of stuff on them. Specifically, the figurine isle is packed so tightly with overpriced glass and ceramics that much of it sits forever and gets broken. We don't have the red tag sale or the dollar sale to help clear the shelves.. just half price color of the week is all. Thank you for the video, Danni. You and Kari are a great team.

I totally agree with you about the pricing. It’s out of hand here in Canada too. Value Village is the worst one ( Canadian version of Savers), and they seem to be pricing even higher since Christmas. I asked them why they were just throwing things out instead of just pricing items for a more realistic price to sell. They told me they get so many donations they don’t need to. If it doesn’t sell it goes in the dumpster. They almost never run sales here at Savers or the Salvation Army, just occasionally they will send out a coupon for 20-30% of a certain section of the store, and it’s almost never home goods. Then they just toss it. Makes me so frustrated.
I am ready for summer so I’m hoping for an early spring!! Today we’re having a big snow in St. Louis Missouri more to come this evening 6 to 8 inches and my friend that lives in Troy is looking to get 12 inches of snow!! I already got in the basics bread milk and eggs and hot chocolate!! Picked up some Schnucks bakery cookies and croissants! I have plenty of herbal tea also to keep me warm!!!
the Hargrove and the seascape were popular for a long while. The Hargrove was probably a $60 sale price, depending on the size. I lost 5 Hargroves in a fire and I can't replace them for what the insurance gave me. Hargrove did prints and then came in and added additional touches.

Small business persons like yourself charge the sold value of a product after you buy it for a certain price and people complain about your business practice ... Let them complain ... You have motivated me to go to Goodwill to look for wood or metal wall hangings with hooks on them . I'm a beader and use them to display my works. When I retired, I had planned on selling some jewelry. But people don't want to pay you for your work. So I have my artwork on the walls and can show it off when I go out. Enjoying your videos.

I love in Minnesota and the summers are horrible really humid because of all the water but the Don't last long. I do have to laugh when u ladies say it's cold at 50 when it was 42 here today but tomorrow it will be 3 and the night - 11 always enjoy your videos and love the recaps. 😊👍👍👍❤

My biggest gripe about goodwill is that all the stuff is donated I don't understand why they have such high prices and refuse to hagle the price not fair to the low income trying to make a living !

It always amazes me how different the pricing is at Goodwill stores. As far as you wanting summer to be here, I'd much rather have winter weather. I live in Hawaii, and it's hot and humid in the summer. I enjoy the cooler temperatures during the winter months here.

Yes that label is put on the Tupperware afterwards. When you but large canister sets they come with a sheet of labels so you can label them however you like I have square canisters that are see through with brown lids. I have them labeled, flour, sugar, brown sugar, tea, sugar, I buy them here and there for cheap. I have tall ones cereal labeled cereal, also spaghetti. I use them everyday.

We are 'enjoying' summer at the moment 😥. While it is a mild summer it is still too hot for wee little me lol. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the long days.
I use photo albums occasionally. I like to print out photos for my niece and nephews and give them albums with holiday snaps. I know how much I loved having actual photos as a kid. Digital doesn't cut it IMO.

Danni you’re right about the pricing. As I’ve said before our goodwills here in SoCal are pricing things as if they’re new retail. Even pricing sets individually. For example i bought a Mikasa Christmas gravy boat and its under plate and they had them priced separately. Each time something like that happens I say I’m not going to Goodwill anymore. I am seeking out independent thrift stores that have reasonable prices for used goods
