When at Goodwill I look for vintage flower pots. I love to decorate with white vintage flower pots for spring in the house. I put flower bulbs such as crocus, hyacinth, and tulips that I purchase on clearance in the fall in the fridge to chill over the winter and start planting them in the pots starting in February. By March they're in full bloom. Smells so good in the house and it just plain makes me happy!

It was definitely before the dalmatians we're kidnapped. I'm 68 yrs old and still remember when my parents took me to the theater to see this great movie. Many years later when my son was very young and it was on tape I think we must have watched it at least a 100 times. My husband and I always watched it with him and I think we had the dialogue memorized. I wouldn't change that experience for anything in the world!

Hi Danni! That dress form would be cute to use as a jewelry or broach holder.. You could put all of your vintage pins on it And set it on a table somewhere. Functional and would make a nice display!
My friend used to rescue birds! She had some sweet birds after they were with her. She also has 3 German Shepards that don't bother them at all when out of the cage. Thank you for helping the birdies.
Small hole bird houses are for Wrens. We have them in Texas & Arkansas, I'm sure they live in other states. Wrens will not nest with other birds, they're picky. They are great for eating up mosquitoes ! PS. Yes, you have to be able to clean them out. :~)
The decorative birdhouses should actually be made with blocks to the holes, often as they are designed if placed outside birds may nest in them but the young may not be able to get out of them when they need to. I have read articles on designing birdhouses, they need to be made to specifics for the type of birds in one's area if placed out to be used. The 101 Dalmations lunch box was before the kidnapping, with Pongo and Perdita's litter of fifteen. some great finds, love the Easter baskets you have found.
I love the way you always think of your children when you see certain items and usually buy the items for them. I can tell your children are your #1 priority 💙💕💙

Fun! I went to habitat to get something I saw yesterday and on my way home I figured..... Why not stop at Goodwill..... again. Well I had to have them hide my basket so I could run home and get more money. Was a fun day for me too 😁 I just love birds. I'm sure your house sounds beautiful with all of them ❤️

At my home base GW the guys like us to shop the stock cart when it comes out! If you think about it, it saves them the work to putting it all on the shelf! One of the guys comes and finds me, if I’m there to let me know he’s got the goods! 🤣😂🤣

The gold fish brand stacked dishes is for food. Many cultures take lunch to work and it’s lots of different things. But I may be wrong. I usually see metal ones like used in India.

I was the same way as a teen! Books were my thing, and I would only buy brand new books. No nicks or marks or anything on them. Now I buy used as much as possible, even online, from thriftbooks..
Awww, those dolphin candles would be great just great as decor without eve burning them. But you also could have sold them at the booth. The color was gorgeous and so mid-century.

I have seen sparrows and wrens use my birdhouses with holes that narrow AND they clear out debris from the previous season‘s occupants (onto my porch floor!!) or build right on top of it.
The blue Muppet plush is a blue Elmo. Yeah…it’s a thing.
Blue Muppet is Cookie Monster red is Elmo.
Little birds use the little holes and clean it out and rebuilt it themselves. They don’t like human interference. Looked like a well made bird house to me.

That was a fun shop! Check the cute pigs before selling as Shawnee, which are usually yellower and have a concave bottom. USA mark is common but not always present on smaller pieces. 😃
