summary: dahyun becomes both rice and tofu in one sitting
in this video, i edited several literal and straightforward talking clips of TWICE to hyper-focus tzuyu's attempts in teaching dahyun chinese. all voice narrations and animations done by myself- in addition to my own english texts, sound effects, overlays, voice distortions, zooms, crops, slides, background swaps, and more.

Dahyunnie's also pretty much patient when it comes to Tzuyu. It's not surprising that Tzuyu rarely tease Dahyunnie because she's one of the mature unnies' who mostly takes good care of her and they're often together more than with other members. 😌

Dahyun and tzuyu have been close since their debut declaration, but nowadays it draws my attention that they are too close and mysterious.
Some says they r dating members from the same group
I learned some things today:
- some words in Chinese are so complicated to pronounce for western people, like me.
- Tzuyu makes it look like it's so easy, but don't get fooled, just look at Dahyun and you'll be seeing yourself.
- I'm not the only one who pronounce wrong Tzuyu's name, and that's a relieve.
- watching Dahyun trying to speak Chinese is so funny.
- I learned new words in Chinese as well.
- I learned that "Yes" is pronounce it the same as in Spanish, and that, as a spanish myself, is a word I'm not gonna forget ;)
- we already know that Dahyun is a Tofu, but becomes chocolate when speaking English and rice when speaking Chinese hahahaha

ye chinese words have complicated tones
there is many pronoucinations for example

there is 4 tones and there is also words without tones. at around 2:45 ish when Tzuya is teaching her name it is yú which is a complicated tone and word to say for non chinse speakers. hope this explains it lol

I’m surprised dahyun couldn’t pronounce yú/ü. I thought Korean language would have that sound. I speak Turkish and it has the ü sound so it was very easy for me to pronounce.
