Right now in the church I'm attending they always say God told me or impressed on me and even circumstances . I don't know but I question that. The Bible is the only source of truth
Depending on what other questionable things they say I would start looking for a new church. What area are u in?
Ask those people in what voice did they hear God.

God only speaks to us thru his word alone . Amen..🙏
I can tell you with absolutely certainty that there are things God has told me directly. I will also say though, that there are a great many possibilities that may be within God's Will, but are completely optional and He leaves them to my choice. In particular, I do believe God gave me a choice as to who my wife would be.

I just started reading a book about this subject! Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung and I’m blown away that I never knew this! I come from a Catholic and charismatic background (was saved late in life) but recently started studying scripture and realizing that all I’ve been taught is wrong! So thankful for these biblical teachings for us who came into the faith with no biblical knowledge!

Listening to Proverbs helps much to find the will of God for ones life for instance one Proverb says the integrity of the upright will guide them. God loves uprightness and holiness and each Christian must always take the path in life that accords with uprightness integrity uprightness and holiness.

Yes kind Sir...one could follow Paul's (and all the other "Gospel" writers) espousal's in say Ephesians 6:16-20 (and all the other Gospel writings)...and achieve what they were trying to say. However...
There is a much easier and faster way; and even more; IF they simply bring Jesus (who IS God Almighty) closer to them. And pray often sincerely (every day) to Jesus ALONE; and stop trying to do it ourselves. And put it ALL on Jesus. Oh indeed Yes! I believe He loves that!
Where Jesus runs interference; between satan and us; when we pray sincerely these words...
Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
And then all of the Euphemistic words Paul wrote (and other writings); become moot (even though Paul is the greatest messenger of Jesus' Gospel there will ever be). But even then; when on going directly to Jesus; we achieve MUCH more!
Now I tried their ways to do what God (who IS Jesus) wanted us to do. For...
69 yrs of my reading my bible (beginning in 1941); I was hanging on to what every writer of my bible wrote. And, in essence, Jesus was FAR away. For I used the word "God" and my bible instead of Jesus. NOT letting ANY one know who was my true God (that was Jesus).
But 15 yrs ago that ALL changed...
I no longer "first": open my bible. NO! Now, I pray to Jesus first sincerely and often; that He will give me Wisdom, Understanding and the Truth. Thus today I Have Jesus right WITH me all day, every day. And believe this or not...
...My life has much more joy, peace, MORE money than I ever could fathom; happiness so incredible; I can't describe. With NO "worries" any more. Nor do I care. Because I have Jesus (the ONLY true God) with me; no matter where I am. And I talk/and pray to Him often; every day and often. Praise His Holy Name. Try it Brethren. It WORKS..
..In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!.
If it makes your life better & it's biblical, it's 'part' of Gods will. He wants us happy Yet, we are to do all we can to work things out in a marriage & it will make one stronger. Love concurs all.! Unless repetitive cheating is involved, try to work at it. Pray daily, constantly & read His word. ❤️🙏✝️

And sometimes that is not clear, especially when you're faced with making difficult decisions.

80 years old and she's never read 1 Corinthians 7? I wish pastors would not use examples like this. Her situation is specifically and clearly addressed in Scripture. I'm not saying obeying it is easy! I'm just saying it's clear. The other things are the hard ones, where you have to choose between options that all seem to be within the guidelines given by Scripture.
I wish I had heard teaching like this when I got saved at 18. I was at that tumultuous stage where you're ending high school and having to make huge decisions that will affect the rest of your life: Should I go to college? If so, where? What should I study? Should I just find a job? What job? Where should live? On and on. I was newly saved so I was still new to reading the Bible. But I desperately wanted to do God's will. I ended up being more passive than maybe I should have been. I was paralyzed with fear of making a wrong decision. I prayed and prayed, but clear direction didn't seem to happen. Now I'm my 50s and my life has gone nowhere. It's so depressing.
God is not there to cater to you every moment of your life lol
He is refining for Himself a people a bride. You cannot look at yourself bit on Christ. You must be born again of the spirit. The western revivalist construct of getting saved by ones own prayer can be a good start but it doesnt entitle you to a perfect life full of blessings.
For He has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power of Love and of a Sound mind.
Ye must be born again.

Not only will you need this information for yourself, but you want to share this with others. These are not fables , but Divine commands.

It's impossible to know what the will of God is for you in the life he ( Almighty God has given you if you do not read your bible and pray for Jesus says he the comforter, will teach you all things. )

Where is the full message? I can't find it.
Mistake #1 - it's not our life. We are not our own (1 Corinthians 6:19), Mistake #2 - God's will is clearly told to us in Scripture, given with the simplicity of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). What is it? Give thanks in all things - for this is God's will concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Don't need an eight-minute video to tell me this.
Once again no mention or understanding of the leading of the Spirit of God. How unfortunate.
So God can NEVER give us imprints or signs or certain thoughts... It's ALWAYS just us and our own brain...I talk to God daily and he nudges me to DO or NOT certain things all of the time.

The will of God is compassion to those that show compassion. Love your neighbors as yourself. And yet, why do we treat the LGBT community as a pariah and not our neighbors?
Prolly the same reason why we don’t keep company with the adulterous or the unbeliever.
We do treat them with love, at least I hope you do. But if we really love them we will tell them the truth that what there doing is sinful. I mean thats what christ did he always told the truth and as we know christ is the embodiment of truth and love.
They need to repent of their behavior and trust that the Lord will redirect their behavior and habits to the will of God. They are violating the direct will of God by their behavior. Romans 1 & Leviticus 18 & 20.
