I had lots of doubts about a girl I wanted to be with and I had so many doubts and questions. There was a gnawing restlessness and I knew this felt wrong but because of her looks and my craving for pleasure, I went ahead anyway. There were unresolved pains due to what she'd done and our relationship turned sour and abusive. I feel so stupid because I knew this was not meant to be but I forced it anyway and now I'm hurt and she's hurt. If you are not having peace about that decision, that is a big sign to say NO from the very beginning and safe yourself lots of heartache.

I agree! Don't beat yourself up. My mistakes may not be your mistakes, but they are mistakes anyways. God understands our weaknesses. If He didn't, He wouldn't have sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins. God also would not have sent a comforter called the Holy Ghost/Spirit to dwell inside of us. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak according to the Bible. So, we have all fallen short. Peter denied Jesus. So you have to repent and turn away from and go forward. The Blood of Jesus washes away all sin! Be encouraged. You weren't the first and you probably won't be the last! Be Blessed!!!!

Facts man I called on god one final time in the mist to help out the relationship I had & if it is HIS will he would make this work. And sure enough we broke up again but this time for good.
I tried to show her the deeds of how good god is and how he could help among even her own problems but she couldn’t accept them and just me brining him up was a pain.

Since I walked away from the lifestyle I was living and putting God and giving God thanks for everything good or bad . I have been bombarded with things coming against me financially , family and who I thought were friends . Prayer fasting and asking for prayer . This doesn’t mean I went backwards still looking up on my knees but it’s rough . All I can say is I have yet to hear God’s voice like I hear and read God says this or that to them or call them by name just not sure if that’s real or in their mind

I hardly comment but here is the story, two months ago, i got a new better job with great career growth, got a scholarship for my masters a broad too, and my employer was willing to pay me more so i could stay, so three opportunities, I never sought of Gods will and i choose a new job, I have been miserable since day one. I wish prayed and listened to God

Such truth! You will find no rest or peace without seeking God in your life. I am 65 years old made decisions for myself all my life without seeking the will of God. And lived a life of turmoil. 5 failed marriages, disowned by children, losing everything I thought was important to me. Looking back now with so much guilt and shame. But praising and thanking God every day now for his love and patience for me.
This word is very true, if you make any decision without GOD is a disaster, I'm guilty of that . But GOD is soooo Loving and Kind HE does not leave you in the mess you put yourself in, that's why HE tell us that all things work together for good to them that love GOD,to them who are called according to HIS purpose. Once Jesus saves you your no longer a sinner. A sinner is a person that practices sin, a person that plots. A sinner is someone that sins purposely and it's their life. When Jesus saves you your a saint even if you had sinned it was not purposely or plotted. We go to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness. Everytime I pray I ask the Lord to forgive me for anything that I've done that wasn't right. So when Jesus saves a person they are no longer sinners but saints. Even if you do something that wasn't right as long as you didn't plan it. I hoped that helped. I was taught under a great man of God.
Im in such a dark place right now because Ive not put gods will first for so long, that I would love to return back to his guidance if in fact Ive left. Im suffering so deeply now that the pain continues to burden me so deeply. My beautiful marriage has suffered and I hurt for the pain that Ive put my wife Denise through. Cry out loud to the Lord in prayer and tell him all the things that's hurting and bothering you and repent. Find you a church that is really teaching the word of God and watch your life change. The devil don't want you to go back to Jesus. So he will put stumbling blocks and distractions all in your way to keep you from the Lord. You have to fight all the way. Fight for your marriage, fight for your family, fight for your life in Jesus Christ. You can do it. I feel stuck. I need God to tell me what His Will is for the Life He’s given me. Idk my comings in or my goings out? I’m confused and I have no clue of what He wants me to do with what life I have left. I don’t ask this all of the time, but please lift me up in prayers for God’s clear guidance in my life. And thank you before hand. All I want to do is be pleasing to my God. It’s been 2 or 3 years feeling stuck and not knowing what He wants me to do. I am so tired of living in this stuck feeling. Many churches today have become places of entertainment. Ppl go to church to be entertained. The messages are pep rallies. But Dr. Stanley brings truth that will result in transformation. I appreciate Dr Stanley preaching the truth and nothing but the truth. Even when it hurts me to hear it, but because of it I’ve gotten closer to God. Thank you Dr. Stanley and In touch ministries. ❤️
And thus is devastating. It angers me - the carnality ; this “how to relate to others/ moral psychological spin.... Nothing about actually being transformed into the image of Christ which is the whole purpose, and the ultimate goal. Not just being “a better coworker in “of course that is the end result I’m walking with Christ, but there’s too much stock as though this is a relationship course and it’s just so “carnal-ized”; Maybe at best in churches we may hear a how to be a better person. What is a “better person”. We all fall short and you & I are needing to be transformed on a regular basis. Even are better people are the best people need the blood of Jesus shed for them no less no more than horrible people are people we esteem to be wonderful.
I hate falsehood. So hungry for truth. Anything less is not worth anything. If it’s not truth it’s not worth anything, but deception. Worthless deception. And it will keep us from ever knowing God and certainly from being transformed into his image.

Dr. Stanley has always been one of my favorite pastors. I learned how to truly love God through his his ministry. I learned how to truly walk in God‘s will through his ministry and his online school he has years ago.
I have no doubt God blessed us with Dr Charles Stanley and we are truly grateful for him. This sermon is really what I needed. Dr Charles Stanley is one of the very few pastors who teaches sound doctrine. He's a great teacher of the word of God.

Sometimes I can’t tell if I am making the wrong decision or if I am just too scared of making the right one. This is in regards with non-moral decisions like picking a career.
A great peace will come over you when God is please. But if God doesn't want you to do that everything will start going wrong. But if God is for whatever your doing or want to do it will be smooth and peaceful and no disturburances. I've experienced that in my life. I hoped that helped

I saw this and heard it originally. I can tell by the way Dr. Stanley looks and sounds. But it was and is a very appropriate message. Being reminded of lessons in scripture is reenforcing as we carry on. His words about making it until the end are ringing with me now.

I was saved while watching Charles Stanley. I was depressed about being pregnant again when I had 2 under 2 already and I was laying on a couch when I saw him on TV. I prayed with him to receive Christ. I didn’t really feel anything at that moment but in time I began to change, became excited about my pregnancy and got involved in a good, Bible believing church.
God be talking to my heart about the things he (God) wants me to do. There's one area in my life that God been tapping on my shoulder for me to do and its to start my home-base business. I have all the plans written down but, I'm afraid that I won't succeed. And if, I do well and are successful I don't know how to handle success. I have overcame a lot of tough situations in my young life and everything went well. I have help so many other people (including my family members) to find success and to live out the will God put on their hearts but, I haven't done the same for myself. Pray that I find the strength and courage to live out God's will for my life. In Jesus name and Amen!!! 👍🙏💝🙏
