Mark Alam Oops wasn’t released as a single it was only on contemporary radio (that’s why it didn’t reach 1) it was released to be bought with the album (clearly worked)

@stokes the red panda CORRECT like most of her early singles. Hence the reason her Album sales were monstrous! Btw I think we both know this list is SUPER inaccurate. The ONLY radio songs that were released as “singles” in the US prior to the digital (In The Zone) era were “...Baby one more time”, “From the Bottom of my broken Heart”, and “Stronger”. LOL Jive was NOT playing from 1999- 2002.. Aside from those 3 songs if u wanted to own any song aside from those 3 you HAD to buy her albums! (The 1st 3 albums) so this list is BS! It’s probably worldwide Single sales.

S&M also wasn't her song it's a Rihanna song although she did get it back to no. 1
Ooh la la was a movie song so I don't think it was sold as a single

tomy tony shes not really releasing much on single cd's, she's more of an album artist (which is way better especially in her prime) that's why people keep saying that Bey is better but Brir still outsold and scalped Beyonce
