One of my 'recent' favorite Damned songs. A band that I have been following for 35+ years. This video is just amazing. It encapsulates the song beautifully. Amazing and thank-you. Quality.
This is AMAZING! I love stop frame animation anyway, but to see it used by a fan to create a work of visual art to accompany a favourite Damned song is wonderful. I particularly love the detail of Dave's eyes turning green as he drinks the absinthe, and the framed Strawberries album cover on the wall of the bar.

Thanks! It's mostly stopmotion (shot with a canon DSLR and Dragonframe) with layers of timelapse and real footage composited in After Effects. There's also a little bit of cg - the faint fairy drifting around, she sits on his shoulder at the end but is a little bit dark and hard to see. It took a while to make but I enjoyed throwing in lots of stuff that I love.
