Glorywhole Just be happy there’s even a manual. Also, there’s no suitable V8 in their arsenal to put in the bronco, aside from the 5.0 from the Mustang, which would need work done to it to be able to work in the Bronco, like ECU tuning for less power (~380-400hp) and more torque, as well as better emissions/fuel economy, the very reason Ford doesn’t use a V8 in the Bronco/F series.

Depends what you're after, I honestly think Jeep would be your best bet for offroad. Not that I don't think the Bronco isn't going to destroy the trails, The Bronco has all these Modes and settings for different terrain which is cool and all but it takes away from the Nail biting experience of figuring it out on your own. Jeep has better water fording depth and better ground clearance. Bronco says they got the better clearance but they're measuring with the 35" factory option wheels if you put 35's on your jeep off the lot it will have 0.5" more clearance

Chevy didn't even try. Was looking at a Golf R but the manual transmission on a new Bronco reminds me of my Bronco from years ago that was a four speed manual & has me thinking twice about a golf.
The jeep will be cheaper to lift, modify, service, regear and maintain because of the solid front axle and generally solid axles are stronger, simpler and less sensitive to geometry changes from a lift. Plus they articulate far better on the rocks. Bronco will go faster on rough terrain but when things get slow the wrangler will still clobber it. i see it all the time on the trails ifs never get as far.
Evan Matulina true ifs is never as strong but you have to admit the bronco looks like the overall better off-road package than the wrangler, not to mention the new defender
@@evanmatulina7475 Evan all true, but less than 2% of new Bronco owners will ever do that level of "articulation" , and the better/smoother driving conditions and longer tire life with the IFS will definitely be better for them...think about it...would you take a brand new $60K Wrangler out and destroy it "articulating", heck no, you'd go buy an old 90's model Wrangler that you don't care if you roll it and damage it..."articulation" is not even a factor with new Bronco OR Wrangler buyers! @@egSmith-sp9gl They own Jeep. Look at the parts content of the new ones vs those of five years ago. When you swap metal for plastic to cut costs, reliability goes down. The very same crap is going on at Nissan. Renault runs them and has run their reliability into the ground.
@@bobwallace9814 You're right, I thought it was the other way around.
@@bobwallace9814 you are claiming the jk as good. Fucking christ no wonder the community has turned to shit. Jeep died with the last tj to roll out of the line.
When it comes to this bronco. It's not even jk Wrangler worthy and that platform is 14 years old nearly.
I do tire and wheel at Michigan truck plant, I drive the semi trailers full of tires and hook it up to the assembly line.. we're gonna be busy as hell
Yeah I hear ya Brother I work in Stamping Subs MAP going to be a LLLLot of OT ..... This things killer..... Love the idea of a Sasquatch option who ever thought of that is Brilliant !!!!!
@@CHRISREAUME what is the Sasquatch option?
I found the information: the Sasquatch package: 35-inch Goodyear Territory mud-terrain tires, a 4.70 final-drive ratio, locking front and rear Spicer differentials, 17-inch black-painted beadlock-capable wheels, high-clearance suspension and fender flares, and the Bilstein dampers. Sasquatch Broncos also get a full three inches of extra track width. The package be added to any trim level, but it's standard on Wildtrak and First Edition.
I work for Dana and they did not tell us about any of parts being on these. That is cool news.
The line isn't yet running, they did a bunch of test runs of the new line tooling tho , I move trailers around our yard here. Waiting for notification of when the line will start running
Lines are in have run some parts they have had 2 and 4 Dr version's in body in white metal ( just shells no paint) for over 6 months now August will be day one of the first 5000 to get certified before production ...but yeah everything is ready to roll in stamping subs
This is awesome thank god Ford has redeemed its self yes !!! What a bad ass truck good for you Ford .
Love it! Granny gear, M-Lok rails and MOLLE straps! I would like to see the manual on the V6 though.
This thing is one good thing to come from 2020 in a while😂
Wow. Gorgeous inside and out. The modular possibilities are also astounding.

Yeah for the manual!!!
diesel engines?
The 2-door Wrangler has always needed split or individual rear seats. Glad to see it on the Bronco.

With the Raptor saga and now with the Broncos i am watching the cars that i dreamed when i was a kid. The are like toys, but real, tough and capable vehicles, with style and fun.
One of the best videos about this Bronco available now
Are they coming out with the “screw jeep” model?

Any version of this is a Jeep killer. Glad I sold mine 2 months ago. Whew.
They just did. Did you watch the video 😆
@@whalerlife53 lmao not with ifs
Dude the ford on the bolts reference is such a diss to Jeep, fords like “we used to build you and own you”
OJ will be able to get one in a year , wonder what color he’ll choose hmm.
@Chris Ruiz blood red
FORD. Just knocked it out of the park with this Bronco . This is the best looking on/off road vehicle I have seen in a long time. The Bronco symbol kicking up its heels is "kicking some Assets!! Love it Baby!!!
I’ve followed the Land Rover Defenders for 30 years, followed the Fj Cruisers and owned a Wrangler. Was going to buy the new Defender but was disappointed with the look of it. I never thought I’d say this but I’m buying a Ford. The look is awesome...best cult relaunch by far. They nailed the cool / rugged look but providing all the tech fwd necessities most people want. The hardest part to get right is the front grill, logo and lights. The circular headlights with the line through it, combined with the bronco name through it is a home run. Reservation complete ✅. Also just bought Ford stock. This is going to be a multi decade run for the company.
Sucks that the manual is only for the 2.3.
add a turbo you'll be fine
Lemon O ya make it undependable...
@@artm5583 The Ford EcoBoost Turbo engines are not undependable, they just have to be cared for like a diesel: full sythetic oil changed every 5,000 miles and reved to 6000 RPMs once a week to keep the waste gates clear. I'm all in for he 2.3 with manual 2 door Bronco... putting my deposit down this week!
74 Surfboards turbos fail regardless on maintenance. That has nothing to do with fords fault. Turbo vehicles are less reliable across the board. It’s just something people need to realize.
@@artm5583 lol no, all modern diesel engines have turbo as standard. In overall, Diesel is more reliable than gas engine. That's why Toyota put Hilux and LC with Diesel.
Absolutely amazing
This will be my first car ❤ I'm gonna make it happen
The best-looking vehicle to come out in 20+ years. Absolutely stunning!
Now we got a raptor, ranger, tremor, and a bronco so much off-road I love it
Okay when do I sign away my Kidneys?
The MSRP is very cheap compared to estimates. Ford has model comparison on the site
Reminds me of the old "International Scout" body style vehicle....
Looks like a scout II for sure.
I have a 72 scout II, dimensions look very close
@@claymarrs8902 I have a 82 Cherokee Chief. Every once in a while I get the 'is that an International?' or 'is that a Scout'? Compliment.
YES, I was thinking that too! Love the old Scouts!
I can already see someone is going to get a white bronco, with the license plate "Not OJ"😂
That’s already taken in California. Seen exactly that in Pasadena
Everyone's got that bro. All 50
We LOVE our 1995 Bronco but this Bronco I would love to have too!!!! It' awesome!
Can’t get a manual transmission with the 6 Cylinder? Ford, please reconsider this decision
I'm with you. Come on Ford . Make it happen.
Exactly!!! Driving a vehicle like that you need to include a manual v6!!!
Needs a v8 option w/manual transmission or I don't care. A 4 banger with a stick is retarded so no thanks.
They announced that they are making more of them in the future, so probably a manual v6
Let’s be honest, less than 1% of these Bronco’s will ever see true ‘off-roading’. But who cares, this thing is amazing and I want it!
RIP JEEP
Jeep has been smacked out of existence
Looks great, hopefully there will be 2 tone paint options like the original Bronco. If I can get a Blue 4 door Bronco with the 2.7 for 40k, I might buy one.
www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/models/bronco-black-diamond/
I like to imagine this vehicle still on the road 20 years from now :) Because it's just that darn good and hearty.
I’m getting that Bronco no matter the cost
You know the dealerships will no doubt have a $15k "Regional destination" markup. They are going to gouge the consumer as much as possible.
I’m a GM/Chevy guy through and through but this thing is amazing. I just wish they had a Coyote engine version
it will probably happen if the wrangler with a hemi sees demand, or they will drop a 7.3 godzilla.
Hopefully GM revives the blazer as a true rugged SUV so we can have the 3 greatest off-roaders back
I can totally see this going against the G-wagon as a Lincoln
I’m supposed to get a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon but now I’m debating to wait till next year
Definitely wait!!
Branco will eat the wrangler for the look. Jeep keep making same looking wrangler every year.
@@joes3534 yes the Jeep is the true off road machine , why change it?
@@joes3534
Fan sentiment. JEEP has tried repeatedly to change things up a little here and little there. But if they ever went too far, the fanbase, those who are usually the first and repeat buyers, castigate Jeep. I think Jeep will make more of a change, not a complete one, next time around.
Man. THIS is what people want. Modern design with the soul of a classic. Ford. I am freaking impressed, would love to see a V8 but that’s alright the power in these smaller engines is just fine.
Excellent, excellent presentation! This is top quality editing that large auto publications have been lacking on especially on RUclips.
OJ SIMPSON 30 years later: it's about that time again 👁👄👁
Chevy looking at the blazer like 😞😞
Chevy didn't even try. GM decided that the off road water can be carried by the Colorado and the Blazer was simply a CUV to fit between the Equinox and Traverse (5 passenger with a 6 cyl engine to compete with the Explorer. They weren't intending to use the Blazer moniker for anything except brand recognition. Sad..
@@jjc4577 yeah, I was hoping the blazer was going to be more like the Bronco. I do drive a 2019 Colorado ZR2. It's pretty darn capable off road.
Who else loves the front grill of the full size bronco
Wooo pretty cool!!!! I think the wait was worth it! Every video gets even better and better!
Ford really nailed it with this vehicle ... colour me impressed. I'm excited to see these on the road... I'm also curious to see if this forces Toyota to bring the FJ back.
Was looking at a Golf R but the manual transmission on a new Bronco reminds me of my Bronco from years ago that was a four speed manual & has me thinking twice about a golf.
Golf is very boring compared to this. Even if R, apart speed, is not that funny to car to drive
@@vuki63blok Which Golf have you driven? And how do you know how it compares to the Bronco. Have you driven the Bronco also?
Jeep : We made our Wranglers better than ever
Ford : Hold my Bronco!!!!
Not funny!!! "Hold my beer" is played out! Just stop !!!
@@evanmatulina7475 its still a Chrysler 😝
Seriously!!
Freaking AWESOME! I will have one!
Re: tailgate opening to the “wrong” side. This is a use case people make up that no one actually uses in real life. No one is loading cargo from the curb
Geez I’m not an off-roader but this makes me want a bronco. It’s looks incredible
My Dad had a 1970 Mustard colored one when I was a kid. It was awesome off road and I am getting this new one for my own!
Ford is Back 🇺🇸❤️
With a shit load of lawsuits for crappy engines and transmissions
nate love you’re thinking of bmw
I will just add, that I wish there was a V-8 option for nostalgia and the exhaust note, but this thing is already gonna blow the doors off Jeep.
It is a Ford......I wouldn't put my money on it just yet
if you want a manual and the big beautiful 12" screen you only have 1 trim option, the Badlands
But you have to settle for the underpowered engine.
@@LysisAG - with the transfer case in Low, it's plenty of power
@@LysisAG It's got more horsepower and torque than the wrangler's 3.6.... it'll do just fine

I'm not really a car guy, and I would use about 10% of what the Bronco is designed for... but I need one. Bravo, Ford. Bravo.

Go away Defender I have a new dream car now :D
As a Jeep Wrangler owner, I love this. Competition is going to force Jeep to stay current! I believe price point/value will be the most important factor in this competition. Love what I am seeing here though!
