That is beautiful, right colour right everything and you do right to keep it for yourself. Its obviously in the right home. You stock and sell some lovely cars.
My late step-dad was a senior test driver at Jaguar Browns Lane when I was a child in the 1970's. He would occasionally come around in an E-Type and would take me out for a blast along the country lanes of rural Warwickshire. One day he arrived in a car that was cloaked in hardwood to disguise it, with just a slit in the front to see out of! Anyway, I was lucky enough to get a trip out in it even though I had to sit on little more than a wooden box. It was like a spaceship inside with wires going everywhere. Well it turns out I was sitting in a prototype XJS (sadly I can't recall the designation it had at the time). I was incredibly impressed as any young lad would be... Fast forward to 1993 and I eventually bought myself a 5.3 V12. What a machine, although it was let down in the end by rust..such a shame. Nonetheless I still have a soft-spot for these icons of Coventry.
I'm old enough to remember XJS's on the roads. Always a dream car but could never afford one. A beautiful design that has aged well. Your car is a stunning example and I hope you enjoy every minute of ownership of her. Well done.
Stunning! The best XJS I’ve ever seen, a proper car. Colour combination is perfect. You guys have done a fab job and I don’t blame you for keeping it. Thanks for sharing.
Another gorgeous Jaguar ❤ Matt the work you and your team do with these classics is second to none! It is very much appreciated by us Jaguar lovers, my dream is to own a malton motor company Jaguar one day.. brilliant mate 👍
Still the best looking jag and my second best colour for this car as I still love them in black, the work carried out is perfect and who ever did it should be very proud of bringing this car back to its former glory.
i remember back in the day that my cousin had one of those but the older model reg jde something boy did it fly lol my father at the time tested it out with me sitting in that cramped space in the back and boy it was a pocket rocket.
“Brand new wiper blades”. That was funny. What a beautiful car. Well done. Also liked, “This is a keeper”. Lol. Number of times I’ve said, or heard, that.
What a lovely colour combo. Looks very classy inside and out. I always look forward to your videos. This imo was the most successful XJS shape with the redesigned side windows. Enjoy it. 😊
I (very stupidly) sold my Jaguar XJS Celebration … 4lt straight six in Jaguar Turquoise last year … if you see it at Classic Car Shows around the UK the registration number is N80XJS … wish I hadn’t sold it now 😢
Why oh why do people ruin later jags by putting mascots on the bonnet, I’d want it removed, bonnet repaired and repainted. The thick end of £2k to put it right.
Melvin… keep your hair on! If you have any! lol The leaper is simply my choice, it’s my car… = I do what I want. I don’t require your permission or consent. Thank you. I’m not interested in what you do with your personal car. It’s your choice. The facts…. FYI the bonnet leaper was a standard issue factory feature of this car’s era for several big Jaguar markets which the UK was not one. The bonnets were pre-drilled from the factory prior to paint, this was so leapers could be fitted for the big purchasing world markets (countries)… the holes were there already so the UK market cars had bonnet badges fitted as standard to cover the holes. Different legislation at the time. In the era of this car only fixed leapers were available. In following years a spring loaded leaper was developed for safety and could then be retrofitted perfectly legally in the UK, some UK franchise dealers would fit them on request. The spring loaded leapers were never fitted as standard on UK cars from the factory but Jaguar still fitted them on new cars for some of the big markets around the world. The spring loaded leapers superseded the fixed leapers on the cars sold abroad. The UK cars had badges which were fastened to the bonnet via a bolt which went through one bigger hole and the badge locator pin went through another smaller pre-drilled hole. The bonnet leapers can be fitted via the same holes. NO NEW HOLES HAVE BEEN DRILLED IN THE BONNET TO ATTACH THE BONNET MASCOT ON THIS CAR! NO NEED FOR YOUR £2k REPAIR BILL AFTER ALL IS THERE? EDUCATION IS A WONDERFUL THING MY FRIEND. Thanks for your comment as it’s helped me put a few people right in one go.
No, Japanese tyres. I research tyres thoroughly before I decide to buy. I usually use Dunlop SP Sport but after careful research these Falken tyres out perform most top brands including Pirelli. KWE a trusted classic Jaguar restoration company in the UK also highly recommends them and got them to their cars.
A rare beauty👍. You can’t sell it because you just can’t put a price on a classic in this condition. It’s almost priceless.
This is a beautiful design. It will always be adored.
Thank you! 😊
That is incredible, an absolute showstopper. I'm not surprised you're keeping that for yourself.
Thank you
This surely is the best example in the WORLD today. Just like magic,it's amazing. Well done to all the hard working team.
Thank you mate. Your extremely kind
Despite its age it is still a beautifully designed car by today's standards....a real Jaguar classic!

What a beautiful car!❤❤❤
Thank you 👍
Pure class
Love it😊
This is such a beautiful looking car, all jaguar had to do is bring its design into the 21st century, Chip Foose or Dave Kindig could easily do this.
Worthy of being a Bond car
Definitely 💯 agree

YOU CAN BUY A USABLE XJS FOR UNDER 10K, I BET THAT ONE WOULD SELL FOR 30K PLUS MAY BE 40K ??

Durch Monate lange zusatzarbeiten wird so ein Fahrzeug unbezahlbar 😅
Chinese tires ?
