Even more awesome when Gibby clued into that cryptic message but at the same time also clued in to the fact that Nora gave away the fact that there were people in the basement because she brought it up WITHOUT Gibby asking about it. 6:11 HOLD UP, left side. Victorious and ICarly take place in the same universe and outside of the Shelby Marx episode (Which showed Victoria Justice playing Shelby Marx) and the episode of Jennette Mcurdy playing a crazy girl that tried making Tori Vega crazy, we don't really have a lot of episodes with another actor/actress from the other show appearing. At 6:11 we see Daniella Monet at the party :O
*Epilogue:* After everything is over Mandy shows up at Nora's house Mandy: I've come to save icarly. *Nora:* How did you even find me. *Mandy:* I went to Carly's apartment for my monthly surprise hello. I decided why not take a peak at Gibby's computer. The computer had a secret code so I rushed over her *Nora:* They already escaped go home. *Mandy:* Awww! Man
You just opened a forgotten memory of mine! I vividly remember this episode's premier being pretty hyped up by Nickelodeon commercials for like a week or 2. The sneak peeks made me very excited and the episode didn't disappoint.
Going to fans(strangers) houses or having them come to Carly’s apartment always bothered me. Even in 2009/2010 why can anyone just waltz in? Like the lack of precautions makes me so mad!
I gotta say, Nora seems to be the perfect antagonist in ICarly rather than Nevile, but instead Paramount should focus on Spencer who deserves more love, b'cause he's one of my favorite childhood characters of the show, and I do believe the studio needs more screentime with Spencer and Nora more than Carly,Sam,Freddy and GIBBBEEEEHH. 😄
I loved this episode! When I was eleven and watched this, there were parts when I was scared for them. I also remember the part where Nora kissed Danielle Monet on the lips. I always wondered if there were parents mad about that. I didn’t think anything was wrong with girls kissing, but it surprised me. The episode where they went to Japan and got kidnapped was dark, too.
This episode sat in my mind for a couple years. I remember thinking about Gibby being Mario, Guppy as Luigi, Nora as Bowser, and the iCarly trio in Princess Peach costumes. I would look at the RUclips clip of Gibby fighting Nora as it was a fight scene in a sitcom. I always knew that what happened was supposed to be scary but the silliness always clashed with the idea that this was a terrifying thing to happen to the trio. This would be on the TV news for criminal acts.
@6:12 wait…. Nora goes to Hollywood arts?! Lol but seriously the icarly and victorious cast always would appear in each other’s shows uncanonically like Victoria as Shelby Marx, Leon as that Dino in that one episode, Sam as Ponnie, and so on. Then they go on to have iParty with victorious as their regular selves not recognizing each other which is hilarious to me (even the writers must of thought it was funny since they referenced tori looking like the the girl Carly fought, AKA Shelby Marx). The icing on the cake was honestly Sam and cat bringing the two shows together and I truly loved this era of sitcoms on Nickelodeon and both casts.
That's why Nora is my favorite villain in iCarly, even when you're an adult, you still notice that she is really dangerous, as you felt it when you were a child (i love Nebel character as well but Nora's just favorite)
Feel like nora more dangerous than nebel even tho both are obsessed with carly i think nora more capable to kill them or just harm them than nebel and i feel like he just have obssesion weird love towards carly
Conspiracy theory: I Carly inadvertently tells the story of gibby and his growth through the eyes of Carly, I carly isn’t meant to be carlys story it’s meant to be gibbys story told by Carly
Also has a foot fetish, May be the father of Jaimee Lynn Spears first child, and could possibly have done something to Amanda Bynes and be the reason why she’s been messed up in the head for years now
This was also one of my favorite iCarly episodes as well I enjoyed the original iCarly and give it was the main character because he saved his friends from the psycho Nora dictionary
@@JordanFringe94 The few bits of that one I remember are the reveal to Carly and Freddie, where Freddie is just stunned and Carly like grabs on to him while all you hear is Sam yelling at children that are crying and dark music playing in the background. Also when Sam tries to feed the children Pet food that MAY contain Hoof.
Gibby's shirt lore, the shirt is what keeps him humble, the shirt contains his power, he can only use about 10% of his strength when he has a shirt on. If Sam didn't do anything, Nora would've been a pile of dust in a matter of seconds.
Another dark episode I’d consider is the one where Carly and Sam fight with one another, to the point where they won’t do iCarly webcasts with each other in the same room ever again, along with the Fleck and Dave guys. And near the end of the episode, they almost fell to their deaths dangling from a window washer’s platform on a high floor from the apartment building, and were rescued in the nick of time by Spencer, and they all apologized and cried to one another. And fun fact, that episode was originally supposed to be the series finale, but the show continued on because Nickelodeon wanted more episodes.
The scene of Gibby watching the "Every Fourth Word" video has lived in my head constantly for probably a decade, it comes into my memory like once a week and I do not know why, anyways good video
I actually remember this episode! I showed this to my little cousins and they were so freaked out that they never watched the show after that. Also, Gibby has to be my favorite character in the show!

The fact that the girl who played Nora ended up marrying the guy who played Lewbert is still wild to me

Ok but the Dingo episode scared me so bad as a kid
It's because of the head, isn't it?
@@p.z.arnott2329 it's based off the rumours of disney.... "dingo"= "disney"
@@angelphoric Oh I know about that. I was wondering if the frozen head scared Cassidy
It didn’t scare me
Still remember it
@@p.z.arnott2329 Yes that was it lol
This episode was always terrifying considering many accounts of celebrities being stalked by crazed fans and later attacked or murdered by them. This is a very real fear and a reason why some RUclipsrs today keep their lives and appearance private.
ICarly was so ahead of their time.
Yeah
This was one of my favorite ICarly episode, it was so crazy and weird, I loved that she had a pet chicken, and always love to see Gibby! Plus it's loosely based off of me kidnapping Johnny 2 Cellos
(That last parts a joke, obviously lol)
Another great video, can't wait to see more!
Haha thanks so much! Truly appreciate it!
Slightly related because chickens: my favorite episode was the one when they hatched chicks. I think the irl iCarly site even had an incubation livestream.
@@sourpuss5951 Classic episode, probably one of the funniest ones honestly - Spencer getting stuck in the vent trying to get a baby chicken out
Remember the episode where Sams friend from Juvie had a Smash Party and they were attempting to kill Carly, Freddie, and Gibby?
Yeah not the darkest episode but was a little too much for a kid’s show
iPsycho and the Gibby Fight are my favorite things in iCarly.
bro the past couple days this episode has randomly been popping up in my mind, its so weird that you post this today because it was like the first thing on my mind when i woke up this morning. Maybe I dreamed about it or something idk
noone talks about how Nora's character has a Gabbie Hanna vibe, and even looks similar :))
I was gonna say something about her being gabbie 😂😂
Was looking for this comment
I only had watched the episode "iStillPsycho", because I couldn't find the first episode with Nora when I used to watch this show. Thanks for the summary and analysis of the episode I couldn't find!
the actress that plays nora deserves an Oscar if I'm honest 🤷♀️
This was a rare moment where Gibby was more boss than Sam
I have always thought this episode was very dark I am glad you covered it
1:15 did they expect that the kids watching would understand a silence of the lambs reference 😂
Wow I seriously don’t remember her wielding a fucking axe! Scary tbh!
Prop axe but still...
@@andrewdiaz3529 obviously it’s a prop axe everything in the show is technically a “prop” seeing as it isn’t real. In the real context of the episode you’re meant to take it as a simulation of reality. In reality, a psycho fan of your web show holding an axe is fucking horrifying.
@@lorenzopastorelli1114 No, I mean, in the show itself it's referred to as a prop axe. She went upstairs to get her Mask and her collectible prop Axe that is a replica from a in-show movie.
Bear in mind the episode where Sam literally created a sweatshop in the basement.
This is kinda irrelevant but Nora and Hubert are together in real life lmao
That is hella weird.
Pause
my mind was blown 🤯 when i found out
Lewbert
@@MrAllmightyCornholioz No worries. There's like a 6 year age gap between them.
When I was a kid, my friends and I loved ICARLY, so we used to record ourselves doing kids things and put it up on early RUclips. My grandma used to be okay with us doing that, but then this episode came out and she forced us to completely delete the RUclips channel we made.
good
Lmao I remember watching this with my
parents as a kid and I think they enjoyed it 😂😂 this was the best episode lol
@@laniii2404 why?
@@ryebreadryan Isn't it obvious? They could have gotten in serious trouble even tho they knew it was just a remake of the episode.
@@laniii2404 oc didn't say they remade this episode, just that they made videos doing kid things.
I found this episode to be very intense though. Gibby fighting Nora is one of the best moments of this show.
Man
But Nora went to jail after Gibby rescued them
@@RiddlerHenchman69 There could be a title card right before it that says before Nora got arrested. Or it could go right before the campfire scene.
@@icecreamhero2375 But then Nora wouldn’t be in the house at that time. Either her parents woulda been home or it woulda been empty.
@@Gamer88334 Here parents were away for a pretty long stretch of time.
@@icecreamhero2375 So it would be empty. Which is the best case scenario since they’re just as crazy as her.
You just opened a forgotten memory of mine! I vividly remember this episode's premier being pretty hyped up by Nickelodeon commercials for like a week or 2. The sneak peeks made me very excited and the episode didn't disappoint.
I just love that Gibby's brother's name is Guppy 😂
I was always amazed by how talented the actor who played norra was. She played her part to perfection, from the awkwardness to the evilness.
Going to fans(strangers) houses or having them come to Carly’s apartment always bothered me. Even in 2009/2010 why can anyone just waltz in? Like the lack of precautions makes me so mad!
I remember thinking Gibby was so much cooler after this episode. As a kid that fight scene was so epic
I feel like the second iPsycho episode was even darker than the first one tbh
Nora legit almost murders Spencer and forces herself on Freddie.
And we were expected to laugh at both.
@@anothergamer112 like yeah I know she does it in comical way but it’s pretty easy to see that ain’t right
When I was younger this episode made me feel bad for Nora, now I'm just terrified and still feel a little bad
Almost kind of feels like a Icarly version of Psycho.
That explains the episode title 😅
I gotta say, Nora seems to be the perfect antagonist in ICarly rather than Nevile, but instead Paramount should focus on Spencer who deserves more love, b'cause he's one of my favorite childhood characters of the show, and I do believe the studio needs more screentime with Spencer and Nora more than Carly,Sam,Freddy and GIBBBEEEEHH. 😄
"Every Fourth, Word! Every FOURTH, WORD!!" Actually pretty eerie looking back.
Yo I recently rewatched Icarley and noticed that there is a TON OF FEET STUFF and the fact that they were children it was super disturbing
I loved when Gibby and Guppy came to the rescue. It was my favorite part of all iCarly when I was little.
Guppy: "Happy Birthday"!
Gibby: "It's not my birthday."
Then it becomes a running gag.
I remember seeing this when it first aired. It's been one of the few episodes of the show that's stuck in my mind ever since.
The RUclips algorithm has blessed me with another great creator!! Keep up the great work !!
That’s very kind of you! Thanks so much! 😄
Nora...that girl even gives me the willies...
It's honestly because of Dan Schneider, he was the writer and he wrote some really weird Icarly and Victorious episodes.
Also has a foot fetish, May be the father of Jaimee Lynn Spears first child, and could possibly have done something to Amanda Bynes and be the reason why she’s been messed up in the head for years now
I haven’t watched the episode in a while, but did Nora ever have a plan for when her parents come home from wherever they are?
Probably not. Not that she’d need one. They’re just as crazy as she is.
I just wonder how they went to poop during that time, what did she do to prevent someone like Sam from making a run for ir or fighting her.
@@morgianasartre6709 There were probably buckets that we couldn’t see.
@@Gamer88334 Imagine the smell in that small room then
there was another episode with the parents after they went to court and if i’m not mistaken they tried to lock them up with nora again
Man, this episode was dark, but also was one of the best. A lot happens and the final battle was amazing.
Guppy saying "Happy Birthday!" is literally one of the best gags in the entire series
This was also one of my favorite iCarly episodes as well I enjoyed the original iCarly and give it was the main character because he saved his friends from the psycho Nora dictionary
This show was ahead of its time. One of my favorite shows on nick during the 2000s
Watching the episode years later, it felt a lot darker than when I watched it when I was 8 or 9 years old.
icarly is already eerie enough without a laugh track, but imagine this episode...
Yes this was probably the best episode of this whole series
I remeber when this episode came out and everyone in my elementary school was talking about it.
God i remember loving this episode but holy shit looking back this was SOOOOOO dark. Like when the clown had an aneurism? Omg
This whole plot sounds like something that would occur when I leave the Sims to run
I dare ya to review the more darker episode were Sam Is child laborers children to make new shirts.👕
Oh god haha 😂
@@JordanFringe94 The few bits of that one I remember are the reveal to Carly and Freddie, where Freddie is just stunned and Carly like grabs on to him while all you hear is Sam yelling at children that are crying and dark music playing in the background. Also when Sam tries to feed the children Pet food that MAY contain Hoof.
Gibby's shirt lore, the shirt is what keeps him humble, the shirt contains his power, he can only use about 10% of his strength when he has a shirt on. If Sam didn't do anything, Nora would've been a pile of dust in a matter of seconds.
I had no idea she was returning in the Paramount revival... Good eye!
This was always one of my favourite episodes
The scene of Gibby watching the "Every Fourth Word" video has lived in my head constantly for probably a decade, it comes into my memory like once a week and I do not know why, anyways good video
I actually remember this episode! I showed this to my little cousins and they were so freaked out that they never watched the show after that. Also, Gibby has to be my favorite character in the show!
The episode where Freddy saves Carly from getting hit by a truck was dark too.
This episode reminded me of something else: Gibby was dating a future Victorias Secret model.
