One thing good about Thailand, they are self sufficient in agricultural products, meat products especially fruits.

Fresh seafood is pricey specially in tourists area. These are cater to mostly Japanese , Korean , and Chinese. They don't care about the price as long as food taste good.

This is probably why the oceans are being depleted so quickly. All this over fishing. They over fish the hell out of the oceans with no regard.

You do realize it’s 2024, and we as humans have manmade fisheries worldwide that we harvest from right? If we over fished too much you would’ve seen all these animals/crustaceans extinct many years ago. For example, If you’re in America, try finding fresh wild caught shrimp. You have to go out of your way. They are mostly farm raised in Thailand. That’s not because shrimp are in grave danger of extinction, it’s because we are more advanced these days in society where we can cultivate, harvest, and consume almost anything.
