Don't know much about computers but have been researching for a week now and I am looking for a laptop with AMD, good video card, 1T SSD, at least 16GB of ram, backlit Keyboard. Really don't need 4K. Hi, Thanks for the excellent review... I'm about to order this laptop with the OLED screen. I just have one question. @uoᴉdɯɐɥƆ you will find that the i5 will run cooler and also should get more battery life too. Being a student I would go with i5 over i7 and put my saved money into making sure the RAM is at 16GB. I was doing quite decent in gaming, the performance results you see was in Ultra mode, I played quick few AAA games like the F1 and Far Cry 6 in High settings and I am a very casual gamer lately these days so I found this laptop very playable at High settings. The biggest asset of this laptop is it's color accurate display which isn't going to be much of a Pro in data science but the RTX 3050 it will help with the data science for sure. If I may suggest if you are going to study data science to look for a laptop if you are on a budget with discrete graphics of Geforce RTX 3060. The reason is the RTX 3060 has VRAM of 6 to 8GB all depends on the model where as the RTX 3050 is only 4GB VRAM. The capacity of the VRAM in the graphics is going to help with larger data sets in ML.
