Great video and informative, coming from another Evo owner even I was not too sure the exact differences of the RS since they are so rare. That rear trunk brace is a good mention. I would suggest a gimbal/stabilizer, it will help the videos a lot, keep it up!
Gimbals are not the simple solution people think. I was shooting too slow a frame rate in this video and most others filmed around this time
My 04 rally red Rs did not come with the gauges. I have the urban jungle package which comes with A/C. There are RS's without A/C (Urban Jungle package)
Being picky not at you per se, but always catches me not being from the US, but why is it you guys refer to the handbrake as a e brake? I know it stands for (emergency) but when is it an emergency every time you park, we call it a handbrake because you apply it with your hand or a park brake which is why it is used for primarily. I have never heard it called an e brake anywhere else other than US youtube. Just another one of those quirks in the world I guess. Sick car btw, I love the stripped done versions. Though a EVO TMD 6.5 is my fav EVO! along with EVO 9 MR.🤙
Haha yeah funny how language is sometimes *cough bonnet *cough ha. It’s always been an e-brake since I was a little kid. I wish we got older evos here
will sanders Yeah we lucky here with JDMs, but then we didn’t get the muscle cars either, though there is no import limitations or weren’t nowadays that’s getting harder too, more to do with emissions laws and increasing issues that’s bringing.
I have only ever seen two TME 6.5s on the road here, so still pretty rare and one was in blue and one in his livery rally colour red, pretty sick. Enjoy your channel, cheers.
Man, can anyone tell me the model number for the 2006 evo 9 RS, the data information that is stacked at the firewall, behind the engine, which also state infos about the paint code, i want to know if evo 9 RS model number is different than evo 8 RS

they are both CTA9 but the vin (in any car) will tell you what you have and yes the 8 and 9 will be different

Couple hundred pounds. New they cost a few thousand less but nowadays there’s very few for sale so hard to say
