Here in Baltimore the boy mayor actually wants to build a dirt track to get these guys off the streets, but they want nothing to do with it. If it's not breaking the law, there's no interest. Of course, in Baltimore, the bikes are all stolen from the counties, so they can't register for the program anyway.
He would have a lot to learn. For one, he's probably a little over 200lbs which is way too heavy for a 125. He would need to learn bike setup, and let's be honest with these "bike lifers", that's starting from scratch. If you practice wheelies a few hours a day 7 days a week, you could get 90% of the way there in a few weeks. What he's doing, turning on one wheel and especially one-handed with no clutch, that takes longer. Because these "bike lifers" aren't real dirt bikers it's likely riding wheelies is all they do when they ride so it doesn't take long. Wheelies are a narrow aspect of bike control, most of what he's doing isn't useful in motocross. Holding the front wheel up means rolling off the power and dragging the brake to keep it there. Doing this on a track might impress the "bike lifers" who might be watching but no one else would care. He would look silly getting lapped by a 12 year old while trying to show off. For the sake of their egos, these guys steer clear of motocross tracks.

Crazy!!! I want to learn how to ride like that, and I'm 55 years old. I know how to ride, but not like that. My son rides a Kawasaki KX 450 POWERFUL BIKE, but to much for me. These guys are incredible to say the least.
Try doing this in the dark with rots rocks bumps mud and other people that could care less they just need to get around you that's what the sport is anyone can really do this on a smooth surface like pavement
