Oh hell No! Yeah this is completely unacceptable. You can barely hear this car and sounds no different than a stock Chevy S-10 Blazer, and that's a damn shame 🤔 Owner should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure and improved cloth interior and window cranks on these 2019 BMW M550i 4.4L's.

A whole mess of things... Close your eyes and throw the dart. The cold start idle was louder than the Revs out of sport mode... in Sport wasn't any louder, but more pop.. wee the lame "burble tune" though the idle after the cycle warm up was done was overall meh...the fans up front were louder lol and the upshift was 3x louder than the exhaust
Very hard to make the N63 V8 sound good. The cats BMW uses act like a third set of mufflers over and above the resonators and mufflers under the car and that car is so new he probably won't get catted downpipes for it or go catless altogether. He's gotta dump that stock suitcase muffler and put something from Borla or Carven (or some other good performance brand) on there to clean up the sound otherwise the car will keep that muddy, plodding tone. An H-pipe would butch up the tone or use an X-pipe to make it more racy. Either crossover would help to clean it up, too.
High flow cats or catless downpipes tend to make them sound good with an X pipe in my experience owning a N63Tu, but they sound very quiet and almost bad with them in. Luckily I live in a state where I don’t have to do emissions consistently to where I can keep up with it

Making an N63 sound good is easy, just cut everything off and go Catless or high flow. N63 engine sounds like thunder. This video is a bad example bc the briefcase is still on as well as the stock cats. But a N63 that’s Catless and straightpiped sounds crazy‼️
@@AYO_KO the S63 sound like two angry 4-cylinders in unison. On my N63 I went with a pair of Borla 40085s and a Borla 60548 X-pipe. I'm thinkjng about swapping the 40085s out for 40943 because they are a little louder and raspier.

It's meant to be sporty but refined mostly for comfort. Good executive car/ fun touring free car. In love with mine currently, but the exhaust is a bit of a letdown I agree. Seeing the car as an overall package though, I can understand why they chose to keep it mellow
to rev that car to get the most crackles you should be stopping around 3500-4000 RPMs because it has a rev limiter so you can’t rev it like an American muscle
Sounds amazing I have one one on mine. I have the bomiz full titanium exhaust system from my ARMS catless downpipes back. Gives it more of an almost 92 M3 sound bit more exotic if you will. sounds perfect!
