2/3 x = 5 multiply both sides by 3
2x = 15 divide both sides by 2
x = 7.5
This is the most natural technique for most people.
Other way is to cross multiply : x=3*5/2=15/2
Never ever. Have I needed this knowledge. At 61 yrs old. Im pretty sure its not necessary.
The way I was taught is to cross multiply: 2X=15=7-1/2
A useful youtube tutorial doesn't exi-
7.5
x=15/2
Yes indeed ❤
"2rPi"/9=x
3x=A/2x=B
A+B/5=x
And is 7.5
Bad teaching.... this is a procedure... you need to explain the concept... Why do you need to flip the 2/3??? Maybe you don't why..... you only know that you have to flip the divisor 2/3 because somebody you so... that's terrible teaching... no wonder kids are doing so poor in math these days here in the USA..
Or: 2/3X = 5 => X = 5 : 2/3 => X = 5/1 x 3/2 => X = 15/2.
Bro I should’ve learned how to do FRACTIONS last year but I flopped so hard cuz I skipped so many school days
More confusion 😅
Fiz de cabeça
2/3x=5
2/(3)×=5(3)
X=15/2
:I multiply 3 on both sides
Lol, I knew you had to flip it! Haha, some of that stuff is coming back. I always disliked the Geometry. You know. You got transverse, interior angles, congruence, theorems, all that kind of stuff. I would like to get to a point, to where I am proficient at trig, bur, yeah, gotta pass Geometry, first! Well, I am glad that you know how to do that kind of stuff!
im in 6th and i do not get this math i mostly get science more lol
When I substitute the "x"for 7.5 the statement is not true
How? 7.5 x 2 = 15. 15 /3 = 5.
2/3 × 7 1/2 =5
Good explanation. No trickery.
So am i getting 2 different answers on same equation lol. (Why show it twice).
2/3 of 5 is a blink of eye answer. ❤ 15/2 NOW folks , simplified. MY SAW BLADE NEEDS SUCH, TO BUILF YOUR HOMES😊😊😊. SIMPLIFIED, 7. POINT WHAT IN COMMENTS❤
This is not algebra. 5th grade math
