I used to play History Line 1914 - 1918 when I was a child, and I think that was my start into strategy games. On a C64 if I remember correctly. I was not really good at this game, but I had fun. :D
I STILL play HL14-18 from time to time. Very casual because the AI is so weak (even compared to today's weak standards) but still a great history lesson. :)

Having fun is the key

It's not on C64. It's on Amiga.
Calm down, I'm here!
The king is here
Looks pretty good, you should check out, Making History: The First World War, for another WW1 game. If you haven’t already.
Will do!
Are there any beginner-friendly scenarios? (I backed off of this game a few years ago, because of not having a tutorial.)
There are shorter scenarios, but not really beginner-friendly or tutorial in that nature
@@RealmBuilderGuy Thanks. Maybe the Pacific War version, coming out next month, will have a tutorial? (No, I'm not that delusional, but I can hope.)
Looks like a well developed game does it reflect the period
As best it can for the style of game it is
this looks crazy difficult, 7 minutes into the video and i hav no clue what im looking at. 0.o
The game is actually really easy. Moving units and attacking is just two clicks
Is this game compared with hoi4?
No. It’s entirely different
Multiplayer how work?
I believe it’s a “play by email” type system
