That's my old corner I use to live few feet away from that burning building , I use to work behind that building what's crazy I don't know how they burned they were empty and brick
Für dieses Riesenfeuer reicht das Wasser der ganzen Region nicht aus um es zu löschen, ich würde die anderen Gebäude drumherum schützen und das brennende kontrolliert abbrennen lassen.
Norbert what do you think they are doing. You do realize that Lake Michigan is in the region literally billions of gallons of water available there. also that lake is connected to all the other great lakes and the St. Lawrence River 90% of the water in Eastern Canada flows through that system. That little pick up with a deluge hose is great.
The Turret Wagon is pretty impressive. Chicago has always been pretty inventive with turret wagons, snorkels, and other things.
Great Catch ' I'm Guessing That the Buildings Had No Sprinkler systems "

Great video especially with the audio of the companys..!!
Whoa it's not every day that 676 pick up rolls :) Had no idea...
That little truck looked like something out of the 1970's TV's Emergency.
Sallie Mae Rampart! Best show ever!
pretty much. it's a pair of big deck guns mounted on a pickup, with an intake manifold.
The deluge monitors are the same type of monitors used on fire boats.
671 Big Mo was in action at this fire as well.
Bloody marvelous video

Purpose built and yes your right deluge monitors of the same type as fire boats.
