btw you missed one of my favorite tracks of the album lock/unlock jhope is credited of writing and composing all songs of HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 he also filmed a docuseries along side with the ablum , the documentary is about dancing and each episode is related to one of the album songs with a specific dance style and he travelled from country to another one to film it he went back to his street dancing roots he is a hiphop legend for real
J-hope is probably one of the most versatile artists out there; he raps, sings, main dancer of BTS, helps the members learn choreography, he writes, composes, produces… in my opinion he’s often overshadowed by the other members, but he’s our hidden gem. Extraordinary talent and so versatile. You should consider watching his Lollapalooza performance and maybe reacting to his “Jack in the Box” album. 😊
If you wanna see Hobi’s darker side you should check out Jack In The Box. What If, the original version, is actually part of JINTB. He headlined Lollapalooza Chicago in 2022 and most of the songs he sang were from Jack In The Box. It’s a much heavier and darker project
It’s not all dark, though. Equal Sign and Future aren’t really dark. They do fall under the umbrella of social commentary, though, I think…so have deep messages.
Well for me the difference between Hope World and Jack in the box is not that big, like 60-40 to 40-60. On the second are mostly positive lirics, just a sombrer energy, but also on hope world there are gritty, hard core songs, even sad...
J-Hopes album is written to compliment his new docuseries of the same name, currently showing on Prime. In the show he is revisiting his street dancing history. Each episode features one style of street dancing, one famous performer of said dance genre and one of the songs from the Album. It is totally Old School because the dance styles are popping, locking, house, hip hop & others from back in the day! J-Hope has many creative solo ventures which totally showcase the Star he is - featuring multiple genres. He is always willing to push the boundaries of creative concept. There is no doubt that you would enjoy Jack In The Box and his amazing headlining set at Lollapalooza 2022. Thanks for the reaction.
The little boy is about the same age J Hope was when he was part of Nueron street dance crew. This little boy is well known in his city for street dancing under the watchful eye of his father. So he also represents J Hope beginning his love of Dance/Hip Hop.
Actually Jhope has been a subvocalist in some of BTS songs, if you react to their tiny desk concert you can see Jhope singing, Especially in spring day. By the way loved hearing your thoughts about this album💜
I was just about to mention the tiny desk concert! The opening of Spring day with J-Hope immediately caught my attention and I was like wow, they need to give him some vocal lines. Somehow, it suited him so well. Compared to his rap (which of course, I absolutely love), the calm vocals in Spring Day seemed to suit his personality and smiley face a lot better. Do you get what I mean? He looks so calm, happy and smiley all the time, that I get caught off guard many times when I hear his flow and style in rap sometimes! (Talent)
Yes, j-hope sings. And he doesn’t need auto-tune, nor do they use it on him much until more recently and for effect only. Also, the version of “On the Street” that you listened to isn’t the one on the album. The one you watched was from last year. The one on the album is only him. Also, you should watch his accompanying “Hope in the Street” documentary on your own time. It’s terrific, and since you appreciate this album, I think you will also enjoy the doc. It’s on Prime Video.
@@Jer-f1s Why would you even say that? I was directly responding to something said in the reaction….you know, the one specifically reacting to a j-hope song…which explains my comment about - only j-hope.
Jhope has darker songs too..its not all bright and shiny cuz he's very versatile in his craft... His Album Jack in the box like that..he is very soulful too.. And on the street album portrays that beautifully....😊
You missed the best one 😩 lock/unlock is my fav on the album. Sooo good! Thanks for reacting though. Jhope's catalog is very diverse, and i think you'll love his Lollapalooza performance. First Korean to headline ans he broke records for sales. The ace of kpop, besr dancer in kpop and my bias 🫶🏾🫶🏾💜💜💜💜
I love that you see the creativeness of J-Hope in this album, I promise, if you listen to his other 2 albums you'll find that same element too, he makes it a point to create an entire concept for his projects and his writting is amazing. J-Hope has always written abt dark thought/themes, but a lot of time hidden it with a fun bubbly aesthetic that is a signature for him, Jack In The Box was a break from that and he did it really well. You'd be blown away by his performance at Lollapalooza. This album was released for his docu series where he is exploring his passion for dancing once again. Each track works as the soundtrack for an episode, all of them were made with the purpose of dancing to it. I hope you check it out, episodes are being released on Prime, it will only be a 6 episode series. On the street ft. J. Cole is actually released last year, it's not on this album. The one on this album is the solo version of On The Street without J. Cole so hobi has a lot more verses in this new album version. You missed Lock/Unlock which is a really nice song, I hope you listen to it on your own time, it has a major daft punk vibe to it. And the song "What If" is actually part of his Jack In The Box album, but he made this new dance mix of it for this EP that is connected to the docu-series that focuses on his dancing (you get the point). On the track Neuron: Neuron was the name of his old street dance crew back in his hometown before he moved to Seoul and joined BTS. J-Hope was their youngest member and says that this crew really saved him, they were one of the first big steps that j-hope took to become the artist that he is today. Gaeko and yoonmirae are both legends in korean hiphop. Gaeko is part of a hiphop duo called Dynamic Duo and Yoonmirae is half african american half korean and part of the hiphop trio called MFBTY along with her husband Tiger K (they have been married since 2007) and their friend Bizzy. RM has featured in a solo song by Gaeko and a MFBTY song too.
JHope is the one who create BTS everything. He is the rap and dance BOSS of the group. He hide behind funny. He is very deep!!! They all can sing, but J Hope creative skills are thy BIG deal. You just learning this!!!!!!
JHope and JCole's collab is one of my favorites of a the solo work! JCole's verse was fireeeee as well ❤❤❤ I teared up and cheered at his verse. Amen!!!! Sooo good! Reminds me of Romans 1 and how creation attests to a God who made and who loves and gives all of us equal worth!
He’s paying homage to his roots with this album. Neuron is also the name of his old dance crew, pre-BTS. And On the Street with Jcole is a song he wrote for his fans before enlisting. It’s my favorite collab of the members and Jcole’s verse is 🔥. j-hope is an artist and a stellar performer. His Lollapalooza stage is a testament to that, please react to it if you have the time. I truly can’t wait for his tour!!

I took this 20 min to see another one appreciation moment for our Hobi💖 I'm happy to see how more and more people praise him and his talent. I love it! I love you JHOPE 💚 ARMY, PLEASE, STREAM MV EVERY DAY AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT ALBUM IN SPOTIFY. Our sunshine needs our support for his hard work!
Oh, so you want his dark side? How about MORE out of the Jack in the Box album? It has an MV and when I saw / heard it for the first time, I had to check the title for 3 times to make sure it's really Hobi.
This 'On the Street' version you watched in the MV is actually the original collab single released before he went into the military. The version on the HOTS album is his version with no collab. If I recall correctly, this is his solo version which was plan B if J Cole did not have time to get his lyrics/section in. 💜
10:42 he is actually a sub vocalist he has background vocals in pretty much every bts song, his main thing is dance tho (he is a dance leader of the group) and he raps as well obviously, he doesn’t really do autotune that much, suga or agust d is the one who experiments with it the most i think 🤔
J Hope sings a lot. He has a very good (low) singing voice. Also, have you seen him a Lollapalooza or listened to More or Arson . . . (J Hope solo work) much, much different than what you have apparently seen. He is a creative genius. p.s. please react to lock/unlock. It was one you missed on this album.
I just realized today after listening and watching hours of BTS and each members solo career, that J hope is my bias. I never thought I had a bias 😂😂😂but after RMs Indigo album I moved next into JHope . There is something so very sweet and sincere about him. My favorite new song is lock/unlock.
I have been a BTS fan since last year just by stumbling on their colab with coldplay. Omg blow my mind. My daughter's are part of their first 60 fans when they first came to America. My daughters said " told ya mom". All I listen to. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜...but a Jimin bias😊
My bias!! As to the rap line - Suga will tell you you're sh!t, RM will explain why you are sh!t, and Jhope will tell you it's ok to be sh!t. If you get a chance, please watch the rap line live doing the song Tear (there are 2 that show up regularly in the search - the one with the black outfits).
Hope on the street vol 1 songs that you missed were 1. On the street (solo version) 2. Long/unlock The one that you watched on the street with J.Cole was released after his jack in the box album. I hope that you can react to the song that you've missed in the future 😊
Thanks for your reaction! But you missed Lock/Unlock, and you heard the original version of Hope on the Street instead of his version solo, which is in his new album.
On the street that you watched is the one with JCole released last year. The one in the album right now is a solo version. Also you missed the Lock/Unlock which is another good one from the album. Yes JHope sings , he is a sub-vocalist. There is an ongoing docu-series in Prime right now, you can see JHope dancing to different genre of street dancing using the tracks in the album
THIS is an ost album to his prime street dance documentary HOPE ON THE STREET. You have to see this man dance. His joy is infectious... This album is a tribute to his origins in street dancing. Neuron was his old street dance crew who took him in as a teenager Also you missed 2 tracks... on the street solo version and lock unlock with nile rogers. What if is a remake of a song from JACK IN THE BOX, his debut album. Jhope has the most oldschool hiphop sound in bts. None of the members sound alike. Thats the charm of bts.
He actually does sing - obviously not as much as the 4 vocalists but increasingly more. In some ways he has the most stable singing voice of the three rappers and he often almost "sings" some of his raps. I also love the rhythm he brings to his raps. You can "feel" that he's a dancer I think. I love his rap on Huh?! on Suga (AgustD)'s D-Day album.
J Hope a Dancer and Rapper but he's the sub Vocalist as well he so you'll hear the old harmony coming from him but then RM and Suga also sing but are firstly Rappers.
This is this original MV to the original version of his song that is J Hope on the Street featuring J Cole. It was released a year ago as a stand alone single. Ok here's the order of things. J Hope Mix Tape 'Hope World' Stand alone solo J hope on the street featuring J Cole. J Hope 'Jack In the Box (JITB) The two song with MV from that album are 'Arson' and 'More'. and the newest album J Hope Hope on the Street Vol 1 and the lead song from that just released is called 'NEURON.' Oh the album has a newer version of 'on the Street' without J Cole. Hope that helps and give you clear order of the albums.
HOPE ON THE STREET album is such a awesome old school hip hop vibes, its so freaking good to listen to, do check out his previous album Jack In The Box, it's so goood ! :)
His Lollapalooza concert was fire!!! One of the best concert I´ve ever seen. And I am almost 51. J Hope is a rapper but for sure he sings amazingly. Yoonmirae is a super seasoned Korean rapper. She sings beautiful too. She is married to one of the best Korean rappers Tiger JK.
Thank you for your reaction, JHope is really versatile. We love him so much. You missed the song Lock/Unlock, hope you could react to the song. BORAHAE 💜💜💜🐿️

So in the On The Street with J-Cole, J-Hope is actually getting back to his roots, and he is freestyling (no choreography). He started out as a street dancer. Popping is the first style of hip hop dance he learned, and his dance crew before BTS, was a Hip Hop Street dance team called NEURON. J-Hope just released his album EP HOPE ON THE STREET - Volume 1, with his docuseries HOPE ON THE STREET. It's about his history and dance journey. You should check out the docuseries. It's actually the OST (Original Sound Track) for his docuseries. And YES, J-Hope sings in a lot of BTS's songs, and in his own discography. He is mainly a rapper, but he does love to sing. As for his harder hitting songs, his album Jack In The Box showed more of a different vibe for J-Hope, and it was refreshing. If you haven't listened to Jack In the Box, I'd check that one out. If you like What If, you will probably like his full album. That one was released as his first solo album. Before that he had Hope World, which was more uplifting. I'm going to link you the visualizer for Neuron, which Is like a sneak peek at his docu-series. J-hope is freestyle dancing through it. There are no subtitles, so I would just enjoy watching J-Hope's history and dance. **j-hope 'NEURON (with Gaeko, yoonmirae)' Visualizer* - ruclips.net/video/K7ogo6nGHMo/видео.htmlsi=roegkqZg7Vges3tZ In the original video you watched, the young boy in the video was taking pictures and then freestyling towards the end. That represents J-Hope when he was a young boy, and started street dancing (at the age of 10). You didn't check out my favorite song Lock/Unlock, and you missed J-Hope's On The Street solo version, without J-Cole, which is the one on the new album. The one with J-Cole was released as a single, on March 3, 2023, one month before he enlisted in the military for his mandatory service (April 18, 2023). The song was meant as a good bye for now to his fans ARMY. The new one was released on his new album March 29, 2024, almost a year after his enlistment. He will be discharged October 17, 2024, so only 6 months from now. JIN will be the first one discharged on June 12, 2024, one day before their 11 year anniversary as BTS. And next year, by June 21, 2025, SUGA will be the last one to be discharged, and they will all come back together as a group.
Wait till you watch the Documentary. The songs are meant to complement each dance style. The dance elevates the songs and vice versa. To me, j-hope is not just a musician or dancer or entertainer, which implies a form of profession. He has committed to an art form he loves, and tries to bring it to the masses and to share the joy. This is an artist.
Me encanto tu reacción al nuevo álbum de hope on the street ... pero puedes reacción a su antecesor que Jack in the box y por supuesto su participación en lollapalooza en 2022 es espectacular
I have yet to watch the video. And I came across your channel just today, this is like 4th or 5th video and so far I have watched BTS songs related videos only, and I wanna say that, now you know all their names and recognise each individual of the group. Bravo! 👍🏻😁

This 'On the Street' version you watched in the MV is actually the original collab single released before he went into the military. The version on the HOTS album is his version with no collab. If I recall correctly, this is his solo version which was plan B if J Cole did not have time to get his lyrics/section in. 💜
J-hope New album so amazing ❤️
jhope can ride ANY beat!!!!!
10:42 he is actually a sub vocalist he has background vocals in pretty much every bts song, his main thing is dance tho (he is a dance leader of the group) and he raps as well obviously, he doesn’t really do autotune that much, suga or agust d is the one who experiments with it the most i think 🤔
Jhope💜💜💜
J-hope full album 💥🎵❤️💜
Jhope is one the best performers of all time, seriously, everything about him is is fire.. he's a star ❤
Hope on the street vol 1 songs that you missed were
1. On the street (solo version)
2. Long/unlock
The one that you watched on the street with J.Cole was released after his jack in the box album.
Neuron was his old street dance crew who took him in as a teenager
Also you missed 2 tracks... on the street solo version and lock unlock with nile rogers.
What if is a remake of a song from JACK IN THE BOX, his debut album.
Jhope has the most oldschool hiphop sound in bts.
None of the members sound alike. Thats the charm of bts.
Thank u for reaction to our sunshine!!! Love your reaction ❤❤❤❤
I loved this album! it's so listenable
I loved this album so much! Jhope is a genius as are all the members of BTS.
It's lollapalooza Chicago on 2nd video
J Hope a Dancer and Rapper but he's the sub Vocalist as well he so you'll hear the old harmony coming from him but then RM and Suga also sing but are firstly Rappers.
This is this original MV to the original version of his song that is J Hope on the Street featuring J Cole.
It was released a year ago as a stand alone single.
Ok here's the order of things.
J Hope Mix Tape 'Hope World'
Stand alone solo J hope on the street featuring J Cole.
J Hope 'Jack In the Box (JITB) The two song with MV from that album are 'Arson' and 'More'.
and the newest album J Hope Hope on the Street Vol 1 and the lead song from that just released is called 'NEURON.'
Oh the album has a newer version of 'on the Street' without J Cole.
Hope that helps and give you clear order of the albums.
Jhope is the best, my husband Spotify playlist full of Jhope music.
i love hots so much and you did a reaction of it 😭🙏 literally the happiest reaction made for me
Jhope's JITB (jack in the box) album is very different he shows a different side of him. You should react to More and Arson.
So glad you checked out j-Hope's stuff! But i wish you hadn't listened to the dance mix version of What If
He definitely can sing...dance, rap, compose, writte etc...ACE👑
yes this is the remix from the Jack in the box album this version is now on his new album Hope on the Street Vol 1.
this is an ost for his show hope on the street
J-hope On The Street 🔥👏🏽💜
J-hope Hope In The Street 💜
Please listen to lock/unlock and hope on the street solo version too
HOPE ON THE STREET album is such a awesome old school hip hop vibes, its so freaking good to listen to, do check out his previous album Jack In The Box, it's so goood !
Thanks for the video
Looking forward to more SKZ reactions from you soon!!
Let's goo JHope !!! (and more Stray Kids reaction pls xD)
RM:wild flower! sosososososo good!
You should definitely check out jack in the box!!!! That album is fireeeeee
Thank you for your honest reaction.

The song you missed from the album ha Nile Rogers feature and Benny Blanco.
Thank you for your reaction, JHope is really versatile. We love him so much.
You missed the song Lock/Unlock, hope you could react to the song.
BORAHAE 💜💜💜🐿️
He is coming out of his dark side on this album, Jack in the Box is another gem
Hobie is just great! 💜
JHope супер, ❤❤❤
Sim, Jhope canta e muito!
You might like wings album. It’s a very experimental album with very interesting musics. It’s an album from 2016, but it’s still one of my favs
Sí , es arte sus dos trabajos , pues reaccionaste a canciones de sus dos álbumes 😊 🇲🇽 👋 , disfruto tus reacciones , no mentiré , solo veo tus reacciones a BANGTAN 💜

In the original video you watched, the young boy in the video was taking pictures and then freestyling towards the end.
J-hope ❤
if you haven't seen J Hope dance alone watch Boy Meets Evil
I have yet to watch the video. And I came across your channel just today, this is like 4th or 5th video and so far I have watched BTS songs related videos only, and I wanna say that, now you know all their names and recognise each individual of the group. Bravo! 👍🏻😁
