You may remove the earth ground prong from that adapter.
As long as you carefully opening tear off adapter using screw driver, or rotate ground plug by pliers or longnose.
Common, wtf, where is japan plug?
The Japan one is the same as the US. The issue is not that the adapter doesn't fit, but that Japan uses mostly non-grounded plug sockets. It will fit to all 3-pole plug sockets in Japan (they exist, rarely, I'm using one right now for my laptop). You can't make a grounded to non-grounded plug adapter without losing the safety mechanism of the grounding, that's why it's not possible in this device. Though there are in fact cables here in Japan, that connect grounded to non-grounded and attach and additional loose wire for grounding that comes out of the adapter. You can buy them in the big electronic shops, e.g. for laptop-chargers where the wall-side cable is replaceable.

Omg, I bought this because of Japan and now I am sitting here and watching this how can I use it.. I have at home also for US 2-pole plug, so I could bring that and not to buy this shit. Thank you really, amazing product.
Okay but what if your power outlet doesn't have the hole for the earth plug, but the plug on the adapter includes the earth plug ? I had to buy another adapter to fit into my adapter in the Philippines !
You can buy 3 prong to 2 prong adapter from Amazon/Aliexpress/Local bargain stores in North America
But you can't use it with a common hair dryer, because it's over the maximum Ampere the fuse is designed for. That's why they mention a Drill and a hair curler, but not the obvious hair dryer. That's deceptive.
First slider - often there are only two wholes/ poles , not 3, so not useful at all

As long as you have Europlug Schuko, there’s 3 prong Swiss/Italian/Brazilian middle pin that you can lift up and down

@@FrancisLitanofficialJAPINOY you can use Indian power outlets without grounding pin. In fact that’s the situation most of the time. Only higher power devices have a grounding pin in India, like washing machines and fridges
