FYI, code doesn't work if you also take advantage of their free cable promo as well, bit of a bummer. So either 7.50 off or a $10 cable for free. Still seems a good option for charging abroad
I bought the exact phone holder for each member of my family 😊. My young adult children love it so much. They hook it on the handle of their carry-on luggage and watch movies at the airport.
I've had my Sony XM4s for few years now and haven't experienced any problems with them yet. I prefer them for travel as they fold up and makes a smaller footprint in my travel bag. The noise canceling is amazingly good too.
I'll have to say that the song XM4s have an advantage over the XM5s in that they fold down into a more travel friendly profile when you're not using them. Sound quality and noise cancelling is comparable but microphone isn't as good when talking to someone over Bluetooth.
I think that Wirecutter recommends the Epicka as well, but I switched to the Mogics Super Bagel to be more functional. I bought the Nitecore battery after seeing it getting a top rating on Pack Hacker. However, the Anker 521 doubles as a charger with 2 USB-C ports and a battery bank, but with half the capacity of the Nitecore.
1:41 for this one, i tend to use my hairbands.. i loop my long cables in lose hoops and tidy them into place with one of my 100s of hairbands. My partner enjoys the versatility of a good, simpl, classic hairband and uses them for all manner of things also! Maybe the Mrs has some hairbands in every room of the house?
Many of the people who love Band of Brothers...and rightly so...have watched it so many times that they know it intimately. Viewers of Masters of the Air have really only seen it once. B of B had a problem initially, too, in that people complained that they couldn't know the characters because "they are all wearing helmets...I don't know who is who"...and the reviews reflected that.
I have the phone holder and I love it. As for the cables, I use the retractable multi usb cords - mind you it won't be for high powered devices but it's great for slow charging devices.
I've only watched the first minute of this and I've gotten the same exact phone mount as a secret santa gift. I've used it on a total of 3 flights so far and it's really good. Adjusting it can be loud, other than that I think it's a good item if you watch on your phone instead of the IFE.
Ive seen you recommend a lot that you look for items with dual purpose. So I'm interested as to why youd recommend the nitecore and the separate tripod over something like one of the anker 10000mAh magsafe power banks given that the anker ones have a built in kick stand and can charge iphones (and other phones with a magsafe case) wirelessly, removing the need for a cable when on the go if you only need to charge a phone, whilst still having the ability to charge with a usb-c if needed.
The ultimate Tech purchase for travels for me, has been the Xreal Air 2 Pro AR glasses With the size of a normal sunglass, they can project to the equivalent of a 120 inch screen within the glasses! Super immersive to watch any video from your phone or link it up with a console like a nintendo switch! Economy flights never felt so entertaining lol
Epicka worked well on our trip. Doesn’t have a ground plug so you can’t use a hair dryer. In other videos they recommend a “bagel.” It does not work in France, the prongs are not long enough.
Thanks for this video really appreciate the info. I am trying to scale down on my tech weight. Any tall stable tripod recommendations? Must be very lightweight and at least 5foot!!!
What kind of power adapter would you recommend for traveling mostly in Europe? I don’t think I need a power converter since all of my devices are dual powered including my hair iron. But I do want the power adapter to be capable of charging several devices at the same time. Preferably with plugs that look like the American ones , since I plan to charge my iPhone with Apple’s 20W white little brick . Thanks
While the MagTame magnetic cables won’t tangle, they appear to be very bulky since each coil stacks on top of another. Therefore they simply eliminate one problem only to gain another.
I also carry an empty micro sd card. My phone died and i had to replace it. New phones format the cards, so you need to replace it if you want to keep your photos. Also i'm prone to fill my phone micro sd cards, so good to have one for extra memory on phone. Cloud is good choice, yes, but I more than not move in areas with bad reception, so just putting a small item like this in my tech pouch saves me the hustle.
These are 1964 Ears - 4 Drivers (I'm a drummer and have used these for live performances for about 10 years now). A much much older version of these: www.64audio.com/pages/design-customs?model=A4s
There's nothing wrong with still using a phone with lightning. I have the iPhone 13 Mini and am going to try to keep it going for as long as possible because I love the size. I don't love having to carry lightning cables along with USBC (for everything else) but having the size of my 13 Mini is worth it.
I keep seeing your pushing the Epicka TA-105 PRO. The bad thing is Samsung phones (which a lot of people own) are NOT dual voltage. Yes iPhones are, which I assume you use but the other half the of the world that uses Android really can't use this adapter without a voltage adapter.

Hands down always the best produced, most helpful videos. Great job and thank you for what you are doing in this space.

I’ve used the Peak Design tech pouch for a few years, absolutely love it….

Thanks peeps ... Awesome and very useful as always. 😎
You found some great tech! Thanks for such a well done video!

I love the charging cords. What a great idea! Thank you!

Another great video keep them coming, thank you
This is great! Ordered the cables and adapter. Thanks!

Great video!
I have a 3 in 1 cable. One USB plug has a USB A, USB C and Lightning charging cables. Saves a lot of space.
I was just going to ask if anyone knows of a three in one that is also magnetic. I love that idea but don’t want three cables
Thank goodness you mentioned the PD pouch. :).
I put a lamp and a fan in there - in addition to my tech stuff.
And lastly, let me say, it is a pleasure listening to your correct grammar, precise , short, flowing speech.
Does the tech pouch need to be removed from the carryon for TSA screening?
1:03 Note plus? 😂😂😂
Super helpful!

Okay I need those coiling cables 👀 🐍
Theyre not rated well on amazon

What brand of in ear monitors are you using and do you recommend?
Educational...Thank you.

Can you recommend a pouch that just fits the Epicka charger and some cables? That’s my setup but that peak design one is huge for my needs
Thanks for this video really appreciate the info. I am trying to scale down on my tech weight.

I prefer the Kenu Stance, a little more expensive but a heck of a lot more versatile.
That one is pretty cool!
with the power bank, do I drain the power or can I bring a full charge on the flight for international travel
Great suggestions. I'll pass on that tripod though - it's pretty pricey! Hey - you guys are already past 110K subs!
Thank you so much! Isn't that crazy?
Is the peak design tripod magnetic, or just metal that's able to stick to magnetic surfaces?
Do you know if that travel adapter works in Africa? We’re going on a Safari. Thanks!
While the MagTame magnetic cables won’t tangle, they appear to be very bulky since each coil stacks on top of another. Therefore they simply eliminate one problem only to gain another.
They are really quite compact!
Why can Inot find your full Amazon list for all these products?

Love your videos! I definitely need the power bank after my phone died and I wasn't able to access my cash card😮. Thank goodness I had some cash.
Nik, can you tell us which IEMs you're using?

Get the xm4 instead, actually better NC then xm5, half the price and it folds. Taking up less space

Someone needs to combine the phone mount and tripod into one device.
Hey Nik and Allie, I'd love to send you a sample of FLYGA! We're a small business and made in the USA. Great travel gadget for around the world!
I'm in the UK. Can you change your links so that they don't try and change the country please? I never have a problem with other yt accounts. Thanks
Nik your face is always so silly in the thumbnail but then you look so serious in the video haha.
You can get the same phone holder from temu for like 3 dollars
Temu 😂
Not gonna lie: I was feeling kind'a judgy whne you said you were using a phone with a lighting connection. Just sayin'.
