It really is hard. Im 31 and don't really have any close friends or family and genuinely feel alone for the first time in my life. Just to see a message pop up on my phone lights up my world. I hate how we have become as a nation, so cold and withdrawn.
Forget this hyper independent culture, people actually need people.
Be the person you want to see.

Claudia,, your authenticity is so beautiful. I’ve found that volunteering has been the one thing that has helped me cope with all the craziness in our world. I am not solving all the world’s problems but making connections with people this way has helped me more than I’ve helped them. Sending you so much light!
Very true
I feel the same. 27 though
My love passed away this past summer and I sure miss his presence.I hope to have a relationship again someday though harder when you are a senior.
You are not alone, God loves you. Pray seek him, he is right there with you. Hebrews chapter 13 verses 5&6. He will never leave you nor forsake you 🙏
So sorry to hear that. ❤️🩹 Hoping the same for you.
Sorry to hear about your loved one.
My husband passed in 2020.
Hopefully, we'll meet someone soon.
@@user-eo4px2cu4v being in love is really wonderful when you find the right one I hope it will happen again for me and for you
So sorry for your loss. 🕊️
I am hearing it in mega churches, people are lonely. One of the reasons, selfishness. When you connect with a person, that one of two do not want to hear or interested in anyone, just want to talk non stop about oneself. Sighing!
Social media is the issue. This issue has not been happening since the Facebook happened
That's why I can't stand people because they think they're the main character
I really wish that journalists like Tamron would learn to let experts like talk so the audience can hear and learn something beneficial. He was so informative and she kept ruining it.
They are pressed for time. Too mich disruption as well
I’m ok during the day…. especially when I’m at work. But when night comes I feel so lonely I’m often moved to tears. I have a great family and friends, but can’t tell them how I’m feeling for fear of disrupting their lives…. so I hide it and I’m just happy when we get together!
This was a great episode. Thank you for shedding light on this real issue of loneliness.
Interviewing a child is unnatural....Aren't we all lonely, especially after a pandemic?
There should be more awareness.
He's a human first before being recognized as the SG, so of course, he'll experience loneliness

what an awesome show and topic. we need to talk about this more. exactly how i feel
I would rather be alone than wishing I was alone. Solitude is great as long as you don't become a hermit or a recluse.
Yes my first book talks about this issue, most don't discuss 😔
Tamron let him talk lol
Right she never let's the guests talk
Folks. These talk shows are pressed for time. If you do not like, create your own talk show and see how these sponsors will tell you about time. You all are so dumb
We love your show tamron hall
Wow!!! What an Awesome interview!!! Thanks for addressing this!!! It is so needed for such a time as this!! Tamarin you rock!!!
From creation…. God gave Adam a partner Eve because He knew Adam would be lonely so while the history is there this need for connection first ordained by God
Well! Get creative , read books and enjoy what’s around you. Society has ruined the cause of relations
Im lonely and smoke 15 cigarettes a day
If you're lonely it's because God wants your full attention and your whole heart. Embrace it and seek Him. There's no One greater!
I learned that even Jesus got lonely. Even Jesus had friends/community. Sometimes, it's more than just God calling you, it's wanting to be around people who understand you and get you, however I do agree with you to seek God and a good church to help be in community with like minded people.
Girl! No! That’s so dismissive and such a lazy response! Yikes!
I'm a Christian and I'm sorry but what? if you are lonely you should force yourself to talk others
@omotayosatuyi252 ok. If that's what you want to do. I'm not saying that just to say it. It's a very difficult place to be in. But today people are so self absorbed, caught up in screen time, social media etc which has isolated us all. It's fine though. Do what makes you happy. We're just not on the same journey. I just tried to give another perspective.
@@amaris7619 You need JESUS CHRIST! There is not much time left anyway because HE is coming soon for the rapture!!!

PS: JESUS is GOD (see John 1)
There's no such thing as a "loneliness epidemic", it's like calling happiness a "happiness epidemic", people have been lonely for years and years and its nothing new, loneliness is an emotion just like happiness, so to call loneliness an "epidemic" is irresponsible, emotions in general are not an epidemic
I literally just posted a video about this very issue 😄 It seems 2024 is the year of encouraging ppl to build community, I love it 🤍
