BUCKS MIGRATING THROUGH CAMP - Wyoming Mule Deer Hunt (Part 6 of 10)

Snow in Wyoming has finally pushed some deer down and larger groups are moving through the migration corridor. Some bucks even moving right through camp!
On this hunt we join Jeff and Randy on a Wyoming Migratory Mule Deer hunt. After waiting 8 years, Jeff finally drew a coveted non-resident Wyoming Mule Deer tag in a unit managed for trophies. His long time friend and resident Randy also drew the same tag. This is their adventure!

What time of year was this hunt? October? November? The bucks so far don’t seem to be rutting at all.

Mid-October, this was a migratory hunt. Roughly the same dates every year these mule deer funnel out of their summer ranges and head toward their winter ranges. We were hoping to intercept them during this process.
