Great boots (I bought the Nevada's last year and LOVE them) and a great video. However, I will HIGHLY recommend getting the ElkNut app. He teaches you the language and how to use it against them. No knock on your callers abilities, because you shot an elk, but a walking shot usually doesn't end as well as yours did. Learn the nervous grunt. It will absolutely stop an elk on a dime. The shooter makes the sound with his voice or a mouth reed when the bull is in the shooting lane, and the elk will stop in his tracks. Good luck this year.
Good feedback and thoughts. Certainly I'm not the best elk caller out there, not by a long shot! The moving shot is iffy for sure, fortunately for us it worked out but indeed the best is to stop a bull in his tracks for the best shot.
