In this video, we are discussing June 12 and why this is a very important day especially as it pertains to social Security, SSDI, SSI and additional money going forward. There are two big announcements on this day, in the morning we're going to be getting the announcement out of the Bureau of Labor Statistics on the CPI, consumer price index which will also give us a much better reading on how much the potential Social Security cost-of-living adjustment may be next year in 2025. In the afternoon, we're going to be getting announcements out of the federal reserve as they will be wrapping up there two day FOMC meeting and will be getting more information on interest rates and the press conference out of Jerome Powell, the chairman of the Federal reserve. This is going to be a very big day and these two announcements will be very important for the entire country, all Americans as well as Social Security beneficiaries and your potential Social Security increase, SSDI increase, SSI increase, higher Social Security checks and so much more. We want to bring you this information and we will certainly keep you posted as we get more information.

Nancy, there's no stimulus checks going out now or anytime soon. Matt never once said we were getting a stimulus check or any other kind of check. If you would listen to every video from start to finish, you would know what the hell is going on.

Call Social Security, they said we will send out paperwork when we send out money? Is that right? Just a question?
Yes they will send you a letter usally 60 days in advance if you are going to get an increase. That's usally for the new year so around November when is time to vote. If you get a raise don't look for a large one unless it's a one time thing like the stimulus. This guys is all talk he gets veiws but so far I think it's all bs. I've been on ssi for over 40yrs and this haven't been easy. I've never seen more then $20 extra a month. Always look for the letters. You should get 2 different letters at the end of each year. If you get a raise. Oh and if you get footsteps they take this away. So you don't get help. It's worse on married couples. Hope that helped. Good luck big hugs😊

Annette, The only check you've getting is the one you get every month. THERE'S NO STIMULUS CHECKS GOING OUT TO THE LOW INCOME. Stimulus checks are a thing of the past.

What happened to the 2400 a year raise?
No big deposit was màde into my checking account after midnight today.
Inflation is definitely going up and unfortunately I do not expect it to go down anytime soon, programs who have helped in the past are also out of funds currently so things are bad! You will begin to see more homelessness, disconnects of electric, etc! When will the Government step in and help fixed income recipients (who happen to be US Citizens, our country can help foreigners in this country yet we tend to not get the help we need.I would love to change income with any one of these decision makers and see if they could make it. The powers that be are hell bent on depleting our finances one way or another. Secondly, when we see that prices keep going up on everything from rent to groceries to fuel for cars and trucks, it tells us that they care less about our financial well being.
