Governor Abbott's Anti Trans Letter - What You Need to Know | Nurse Practitioner Reacts

A few weeks ago, The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, sent a letter to the public making the recommendation that all parents seeking gender affirming care for their transgender children should be investigated by child protective services. This Anti-Trans recommendation from Governor Abbott came after a letter from the Texas Attorney General falsely claimed that gender affirming care was sterilizing children all across the state. This attack on Texas LGBTQ youth is unacceptable, and is not based on evidence. In this video we take a look inside Texas politics, to uncover what the Anti-Trans Letter from Governor Greg Abbott actually stated, what the implications are for LGBTQ youth in Texas, and what evidenced based gender affirming care actually looks like.
