I see this was posted a long time ago. It appears that since then, the alpaca, goat, and pheasant have been removed from the demo. Also, I never saw the enemy mushroom with the round head, even though I've cleared all the 20+ islands in the demo. Also never saw the little pods that have animals or bones inside. It seems like maybe they've scaled back the demo quite a lot. I've scoured the islands for bones, but only found maybe 3 total so far. So definitely not enough to make all the advanced tools and weapons.
A longer form upload especially for this might be worth doing!
I know I’d watch it. You got me into raft and I’ve loved the content since, would love to see a full play through here!

I cracked and started playing in this after you dropped this video and I am loving it so much! I'm going through the outer rim islands first (a very large undertaking so that I can really get into the world), and I have only seen the pheasants and the goats free on the islands. I've seen a few of the others on corrupted islands but I've not yet been able to unlock the cure potion so I haven't gotten any of them freed yet. My question is, have you only seen the alpacas and sheep trapped on corrupted islands, or are they free-roaming on some of the inner islands?

I honestly got stuck in one of my demo saves, I couldn't find any more bones & I couldn't find any new recipes from the runes. I also just needed to clear up space on my PC so I just uninstalled it. When it fully releases I might get it, but it might be a while. The devs are clearly hardworking though & they're clearly passionate for this game.

Are new alchemy benches unlocked through waystones
I think only the research table is, while the others are unlocked when you reach certain points with your research. Either that or the research table is unlocked the first time you get the drops from the enemies.
Sorry if you've answered this previously but as a lover of the ocean why haven't you played Subnautica? I think you would love it.
Mostly because I actually played it all the way through on stream a few times! Now I'm waiting on the release of Subnautica 3 (which is confirmed in development) to play through the whole trilogy together :)
