I can't believe no one has commented on this yet! I like it! I'm wanting to build my own compact sit-down cocktail kit. Wow! Sounds very nice! Great work!
Angle the Jungle Gig bass drum legs inwards to raise the front of the drum, thus creating an angle towards the player where the beater hits flush with the head and isn't hyperextending. This goes for all bass drums too.
At 2:37, we see that the ISS mount is at an angle. At 2:59, it seems like you tweaked it a bit to make it parallel with the floor tom. What did you do exactly? Did you need to loosen the ISS mount on the rim?
Ok, so my brain is working on how I can use this setup work my vdrums. I have a KD-1 kick pad. I think it's way better than the stand alone ones. But what I'd like is to use this setup and modify it to sort of put the pad inside the floor tom and just use the actual tom is an "enclosure"... Haha... crazy idea, I know.
What size were your hoops, and would this ISS work on smaller width hoops? I have a Premier 75th Anniversary APK, and I think I read somewhere it had 1.5mm hoops.
Hi, yes, the Pearl ISS Mount I have used is designed to fit 12”-16” floor toms, but it should state which size toms it will fit on the description/packaging - maybe check with the dealer when purchasing? - good luck 🙂👍🏻
How did you get the iss mount to lay flat against the drum? I saw that it was angled after you tightened it to the drum. Same thing happens to me and I can’t figure out how to get it to lie flat
Great video! Straight to the point. Got one in my cart, gettin' ready to pull the trigger.
You are awesome. Your instructions helped me solve a problem I was having with the ISS system.

Hi, glad you liked the video, thanks. I recommend you give it a go, I found that building a smaller kit has made gigging a lot easier 🙂
Helpful for sure. Thx
Nice, never seen this adapter or accessorie, 🤟🏻
Thanks for the video! I enjoy the smaller kick sounds and have been struggling to find a good video showing this setup

Also wondering this. Did you figure it out?
@@stevol6282 Didn't get an answer unfortunately
Same here, waiting for an answer, having same issue since I bought it years ago

Are they the quick lock memory locks?
Does the floor tom move around when you lay into the kick?

In my experience the ISS can be used with smaller hoops I believe.
Cool! Hi Andie, does Pearl ISS Mount "hole" have as the same size as regular tom bracket holder?
Good Work, Buy Evans EMAD 16" Head with Dampener and this Baby will sound like a CANNON :)
hy I from indonesia...may you tell me a bout or name the braket
Might be ok for jazz feathering but I don’t think you would want to go too John Bonham on it
Does this work with a 14 inch?
Are you in a band?

Would the pearl adapter work for a 14"?
I have a 14” floor Tom, would the jungle adapter still work?
