  • important note.
    this feature only available in office 2016, 2019 and 365
    How to import 3d in ms office
    import sketchup's 3d model in Microsoft Office
    in case 3d not import texture
    How to fix.

    you can solve this issue with the help of free microsoft app called "3d builder"
    export .obj from sketchup and open in "3d builder" and in a "3d builder" save as in .3mf or .glb format now insert .3mf or .glb in powerpoint.

    or simply just ues sketchup Plugin "glTF Export" to export .glb

    How To Fix Texture issue with .Fbx
    solution:
    When you export .fbx from Sketchup, it creates a separate folder with textures. All you need to do is to put the .fbx file (which is outside) inside the folder. Then it will import to Powerpoint correctly.

      Excuse me it doesn’t work .The folder with textures and .fbx can’t import to PowerPoint .how to solve this problem.

    This is going to be an awesome tool for my videos! I have seen videos explaining this, but nnne were about importing models from a computer. I'm glad I got to see an example of this!

    I love your video, but am having trouble uploading my 3D model. I too have a building, with many textures, but when inserted into PowerPoint many of the textures are missing. Even when I move the .fbx file into the folder, all my textures are sitting there as jpg or png files. Got any advice?

      yes! this is a problem but you can easily solve this with the help of free microsoft app called "3d builder"
