As a Thai person, I read many people's comments, and I couldn't help but smile. Those comments are truly wonderful. Thank you for loving us, the Thai people.
mate, what a great video. Just sooo Thailand......a mum setting you up with her daughter, Aunties everywhere having a chat, and great food. It's just like a family visit to the village. Thanks for finding a great little hidden Thai-treat
Wish this video came out sooner! I'm Thai American, and I was visiting Berlin a few weeks ago to run the marathon and would have loved to check this out. Great video as always Paddy!
Between 11:45-12:00 the glances in the background suggest they are in awe of Paddy's Thai language ability. 😀 If you enlarge and pause @12:01 the man with the glasses looks bamboozled. LOL
Paddy! This was epic to learn about a Thai diaspora in Berlin. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸🤝🇦🇺 Paddy, BTW, I can only take ส้มตำ with a level "see" chili 🌶️. No higher. 🥵🫢
Thanks Baddy and everyone in the video. You've made a wonderful series of videos on your trip to Europe, like all your videos anyway. (You've a relevant topic, for example, about Thai people's lives elsewhere, and I'm particularly impressed that you brought up the fact that speaking the own language is important and essential for children abroad.)
Thank you for these! I love watching your videos and your love for Thai culture and community is clear, as well as their love for you! I have an observation maybe you could speak to. In most of your interviews with Thai expats living abroad, it seems that they are all Thai women. Have you been able to find Thai men that moved away, or is it just that the women are more eager to talk to you? Also maybe it’s more common for Thai women to marry foreigners and that’s how they have been able to put down roots elsewhere. Just a thought! My dad came to the US initially on his own, and ended up living here for over 40 years before retiring and moving back to Thailand. Would love to see you out here! Los Angeles has the highest population of Thais outside of Thailand, come on over and check it out!
Would love to come over to the States! Perhaps next year! So many interesting stories to be told there too (just like your dad!). Thanks a heap for watching 🙏
Nice man, as a Berliner I can say you really captured everything well! Nice, that you explained the situation with the change and really good that you promoted the local vendors. The campaign for pro staying in the old location had thousands of votes in just a few days, but the authorities ignored it. Still the new location is better than no location and as you mentioned it does feel like a small corner of Thailand in Berlin.
Thanks Paddy, really enjoyed this video, you always are spot on with interviews and interactions. It is so interesting seeing Thai's settled in other countries.
Another excellent video Paddy! I hope this channel inspires others to learn to speak Thai (Poodt passadt Thai (พูดภาษาไทย) as I am doing) Thanks Paddy, enjoy your European trip !
These style videos are super enjoyable, because you never know which direction the conversations might go in. Why, in this one you even found out you have a potential crash pad (& wife) waiting for you on your next visit to Thailand (Maha Sarakham)..
I enjoyed the cheerful banter @2:30 😂Having to buy a container for 1 euro, just like having to pay to visit a restroom 😆. I can't believe Prim arrived in Germany with her Husband 35 years ago. I thought she was at most aged mid to late 30's!!
Try going to a Thai concert in Europe. Thais here find ways to charge for everything even more than the locals ever would. It is so different in Thailand.
Omg khun Paddy goes everywhere sharing his Thai talk with Paddy the Thai influencer ! Hail to Khun Paddy ! Bangkok and Sydney are missing you na ❤ Btw are you returning to Bkk b4 you return to Sydney for Christmas ? Love to catch up missing you from Chatswood to Thai town and Banger 😂
You’ve lived in Thailand less than me, and I’m a native Thai, and somehow you have better vocab than me😅 Probably because I mainly spoke English and Laos.
Ok so the closest i can be to Thailand is by visiting berlin, right? As an European, it's easier to go to Germany. But I'd love to see Thailand one day❤😢❤
Sawadeekrub....Great job Paddy! 2 month ago, we were in Berlin, Neuschwanstein, Rome, Munich, Florence, Milan, Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, and Dublin...tired but a log of excitement and fun with good memory. I am sure I pissed off some locals along the way lol. Thais love to ask you personal stuff, have girl friend , are you rich etc lol.
Thank you so so much for reporting from Germany's capital Berlin and its large Thai community !!!!! Weed is legal there. You can drink or smoke in punlic withoit any problem.
As a German I did speak some Chinese to a Chinese friend in Thailand back in the days... Tourists thought we were speaking Thai... Thai is a tonal language as Chinese, but these languages are not part of the same language family. Strangely enough you find tonal languages in Asia which are not related to each other at all.
Send me a message if you are going to Sweden, we have an extra house where you can stay for free, one hour from Stockholm. I will find out where the Thai people hangout, if you don’t find out before me that is 😂
10 EURO ??????? 365 Baht ??? For a papaya salad ? I think you are getting triple pricing instead of the usual dual pricing and that is the son-in-law special price . DAMN ( I also have a spare room ! ! 20,000 Baht per night )
That was a joy to watch.
Every now and again, my faith in humanity is restored.
Honest, friendly interaction. 😊

It was an amazing spot! Thanks for watching Glenn
This video brings a smile to my face. 🙏🏼

as you can see, thai people are different kind of people. friendly, smile, family like.

Always an amazing watch. Thanks for sharing, mate 🙏
Really appreciate it 🙏
I am German, originally from the Berlin area and married to a thai, but did not know about that. So many thanks! Will check out.
Enjoying your European tour.

I am from Berlin and a big fan of the channel! :)
As I am only learning thai this is my training ground for practicing!
Keep up the good work Paddy!

Paddy's Thai language skill improve every day 👍
Seems to most Thai people you speak to it's time to get a "girlfriend"! Good work Paddy. 💛🧡
Your videos are always a joy to watch 😊
Thanks Baddy and everyone in the video.

What a great place and lovely people. Thank you for sharing! I’ll be sure to visit if I find myself in Berlin!

I’m sure you will one day! Thanks for watching

We say guten Tag, means good day - Like in Australia
I know! But it happened to be midday at the time of filming 😂 should have said Guten Tag though!
❤❤❤
Im Thai. Now I want yo speak thai with you😂
I think in Isan you can say "saep lai lai" just like in Lao.
I know they are in Germany, but I miss Thailand so much.
❤
Berlin authorities should designate a permanent location for an open food market like what they have in Bangkok.
คุณปลอมตัวเป็นฝรั่งใด้เนียนมาก...555
"today" probably a couple of months ago 😁
สุดยอดแพดดี้ไปประเทศไหนก็คุยกับคนไทยอย่างสนุกสนานเลยทำให้ผมรู้สึกสนุกสนานไปด้วย
ดีใจที่พี่ชอบดูด้วยครับ

That is super kind of you! Would have loved to have visited Sweden but unfortunately I have actually already left Europe! Thanks so much
