  • In 1986 the British round of the European Motorcycle Emduro Championship was held at Bordon in Hampshire. Present was the MZ team from East Germany and members of the UK MZ Riders Club went to cheer them on. This is an 8mm film of the event.

    MZ und SIMSON absolute top Werksfahrer war eine schöne Zeit damals wenn MZ und SIMSON ankamen der Motorsound war einmalig

      Realy? These factory Bikes (Simson /MZ) are completly different to the serial Bikes you can buy (at this time). Crankcase and gearbox made of magnesium alloy(casted in ČSSR/machined in GDR/MZ!!!), dry clutch at gearbox input (instead wet clutch on the crankshaft)... In the GDR until '89 you can't buy such a Enduro! All the young boys want it to have, especially after September '87"Six Days" Jelenia Gora/Poland... It was only a unreal dream... I was there in' 87... Unforgettable!!! 😎

      @@silectric Oh, really! I didn't expect that! Here in E Germany you can find a few in the MZ area! Yes the prices are phantasy.
