You can tell my knowledge of this game boils down to the good ol' same strats lol but I still think I am providing weapon specific "tech" for newcomers to get better
Just started playing hammer recently and this is so helpful. I just did the stagger control on mizu for a straight 30-45 secs of nothing but head bonks.
Thank you for the feedback. I may not make anymore because I am not good enough with other weapons sadly. I could make a Valor Hammer guide but there isn't much to talk about besides using charge 2 level 2 as a form of stagger control or using draw pound and strong pound combo to cause a stagger and land the valor hook when the hunt starts. I may make shorts maybe with little tips at a time.
Thanks, this video is perfect! There are so many guides out there that simply showcase the weapon's moves, but this video provides that and gives tricks and techniques to apply during hunts to get better with the hammer. The staggers had been ruining my combos so much, I'm glad to hear there's a way to deal with it effectively. The scream trick sounds really powerful.
Been meaning to get into hammer and this gave me a lot of meaningful advice in getting better at the weapon. Nicely done my guy Edit: i never knew about the stagger control and how it can be manipulated. Extremely helpful!
Thank you! Landing golf swings feels satisfying but there aren't many windows available when you start getting the hang of it. The more options you have, the better your chances.
It is a good iteration of classic hammer imo. You have the classic moveset but you have absolutes hunter arts that help a lot. There is also Valor style that is super fun as well.
Thanks! Well not a lot of people play GU these days and even then, not everyone plays the same weapons. I just make them for those who want pointers on how to play the weapon after watching tutorials
Originally no, but I have been thinking about it. The thing is, I don't have a lot of free time so if I ever make one, is gonna take me a while. This guide took me like a month between compiling clips, editing and doing voiceovers. Hope ppl liked it
I really love these guides because they show how to actually approach a hunt and making use of stagger control and positioning.

@@locoghoulbelieve it or not, most people probably aren't aware of them and it's a good pointer, even if it applies to older games as well

I LOVE that you're still making in depth guides for this game, not some beginner vid. Keep up the good work, I'll watch ALL your guides!

Finally, a MHGU guide that isn't from half a decade ago!
Old or new, I hope you found this one useful!

Glad it was helpful! Golfswings deal a lot of stuns so landing two at the start of the hunt makes it much easier
Best GU guide on RUclips
Thanks! Hope it was helpful
Amazing guide. I love the focus on practical gameplay advice, not just a list of moves and combos.
thanks! That is my focus when I make guides

I only saw the intro so far but subscribed immediately.
Nice name lol, I loved Celeste. Just reminded me I jeed to finish the B sides
Yo these are great! After watching the video I'm really itching to jump back into MHGU and give hammer a go

Your guides are amazing. It should get much more views.

Are you gonna make a Valor Hammer guide at some point?
