Picked up the "X" version about 2 weeks ago and I am now convinced. Technology HAS indeed caught us all old guitar players and passed us by. The Yamaha THR10X, along with the onboard effects and additional effects from the THR Editor program, such as (rack!) compressor and noise gate - make the $299.00 I spent at Sweetwater maybe the most satisfying bang for buck music expenditure I can ever remember. I was up and running and getting great clean and distorted tones in about 10 to 15 minutes. It took longer to get full sized Marshalls, Peaveys and Mesa Boogies dialed in back in the day. The tone and the FEEL of these things is what truly sets the Yamahas apart from other small digital modelling amps. Just saying that phrase gives me the shivers but this amplifier FEELS like the real thing and can get pretty loud (if you're right in front of it). This is a game changer. Loved seeing the 2 amps "together" running in stereo. They are relatively inexpensive so I am debating should I just get a second THR10X or change up and get the "C". Incredible product (Thank you Yamaha!), and thanks for showcasing these 2 miniature beasts together.
I have two Yamaha THR10C for dual amp rig and standing between them and playing is an absolute heaven.I use a lot of stereo delay and reverbs and a doubler pedal(which is a must for dual amp rigs) and the tone is killer.
I have a THR10 and 10C. Love these amps. I would love to see a vid of someone playing a variety of tunes on the THR10C like you guys have done with the 10 and 10x. It's cool to see those kind of videos to get ideas of the possibilities. Thanks!
If you guys ever do a firmware update, please consider altering effect curves. I would like more subtle effects on the unit. Even at low settings they can be a bit too extreme.
Well, the only maple neck Pacificas currently available are the 1611MS Mike Stern model and the 112VM. As for them being available in the USA, that's a decision Yamaha Corporation of America makes - you can contact them through usa.yamaha.com to make a request for them to be available!!
Does the usb or the line output provide the same superb , full-tone sound ? I mean the sounds are the same, "cabinet -simulated" ? 'Cause at the Andertons demos they mic'd these amps with a Shure 57, which I didn't really understand... if it provides the full sound ( amp+mic'd cabinet ), why didn' t they use a simple full spectrum condenser mic ?
How can I use my Fender Mustangs with THR10X? I want to hook the THR up.to my Mustang III because it has a in and out cable inputs. But my THR does not have a in and out input. I really wanted to run it through my Mustang III but I can only plug the Mustang III into the THR.

Hello Yamaha. I have a 10C and would love to have access to the other models. I'd be willing to pay $$ for a patch to do so!
I actually thought of this idea using a foot switcher with having 2 THR amps
Would be nice If I could find one.
Gotta try it one of these Years.
Any news on a Maple Fretboard Pacifica release in the U.S.A.??
excellent

Yes, it does

+Daniel Dracula- Flores With an A/B box.
would you be using it to play with a drummer? or a small gig?
You can use it as processor and connect phones output to the PA system
I thought the amps sounded better used singly.
