About every time you come out with a new video I scroll down and watch one I haven't watched before. Great video! I have my mother's engagement ring and wedding band. I don't know who I'll give it to.
My wife's engagement ring is my birthstone, which was her idea, a peridot. It's cheap(probably the cheapest gem stone), has meaning, and is really unique. She gets compliments on it far more often than her friends with big diamonds. The only drawback is that it is extremely soft and we have to replace it every few years, but we usually just do a service to replace some micro pave' diamonds, and clean it all at once. We keep the peridots and next service I am going to have them all set in earring studs to give to my daughters.
My mother was an apprentice jeweler for almost a year. I heard the stories of what it's like to work in a major chain jewelry store. Those people have no souls.
I knew diamonds were a scam once I went on a curse and saw how hard they infulanced people to buy diamonds, saying things like "If you like it, buy it!" And "diamonds are an investment! Something you can hand down to the grand kids!" And all that. Curse lines really push this cheap stuff... It's sickening.
Some I thought of recently is that I don’t think you’ve ever mentioned how they add color to coin, it’s so insignificant that it was obviously going to intrigue me
Re 25:00 My wife's ring actually has a morganite stone, we shopped for aesthetics rather than perceived "value" (since I knew diamond prices are generally bs).
As far as i can see, the best diamonds (other than big stones) is the Australian pink Argyle diamonds. The price has probably gone through the roof as they have stopped mining. Even still, would need to be a decentish stone.
@@PawnMan what the best way man, I watch so much of your content and know you only look at some comments. I'd love to do a blind send but I live in Vietnam and try to get the best to tell the history from the French, usa, Cambodia and China - I actually have alot to say too because of the history how is best to talk, I know you are busy
I don’t feel bad on Valentine’s Day because I’m a lifelong confirmed, bachelor. Just the money I’ve saved on Valentine’s Day over my life time is 6,000.00 or more. Then if you go further and include marriage-divorce-children that sum goes through the roof at least 500,000.00 and the state I live in; if married 10 or more years theirs a lifetime alimony involved which could push that figure over 800,000.00 dollars. A must read for men a book by Aaron Clarey “ The Book of Numbers “ . The book Analyzing the ROI on the pursuit of women, Avaibele on Amazon for 16.95 paperback.
Lol this made me laugh. A fancy dinner out plus card and flowers and Ubers and drinks after is $250+. A bottle of lube and a tissue paper and pornhub is $5 tops. Eat my tits hallmark.
bought a ring from walmart for $300 12 years ago. statistically, the more money you spend on a wedding the more likely it is to fail. ours literally cost 20 in gas for our friend to marry us. love the vids man, way more realistic and entertaining than pawnstars, no offense to those guys. ty, and keep em coming.
You're not wrong, I deal with jewelry every day and when I sell emeralds and rubies I don't charge anything extra, not anything like how diamonds are marked up
Said it right - Clad ugh Ring 🍀 great episode - would like to see something good for July 4th Video lots of cool US history I’m sure you can scoop up 🇺🇸
DeBeers certanly had a great marketing manager. I sold my diamonds aftr reading about blood diamonds. Opal's are my investment now, so many colours all n one stone ❤ Great Video 2x👍
I think the problem with selling certain historical merchandise is dealing with the age range and mentality of the folks who would pay money for it. If it becomes too much of a hassle, you could melt it down and start an occasional RUclips side series :) Should make that money back on views.
You’ve said that last week and that’s what made me wanna know what the “conman” looks like. Being someone who’s done hallucinogenics before. Tell you the truth I could care less before you said that lol
I would argue that De Beers is not an example of capitalism. being that they corner the market, they own all the major mines, they pay off governments that prevent competition, etc. Capitalism expects the opportunity for competition, but De Beers is able to crush competition through government controls.
Here's what I love about "Internet Tough Guys" - They tell you everything. Not ONLY does he brag about being loaded but then he tells you to GOOGLE HIS ADDRESS! "Hi, if you're looking for a quick payday, rob THIS HOUSE. Here's the address." And if this "Internet Tough Guy" read this, he'll give you more info e.g. "Good luck getting past my ACME9000 security system pal." facepalm.
I love your content. I can't get enough of it. Always learning since I just got into bullion

Nice one Pawn man 👊 as a South African, De Beers, Cecile John Rhodes 🤮
Capitalism isn't evil, people are evil... did you know lobster used to be poor peoples food

I honestly dont know why your videos havent blown up, your time is near my friend.
Spread the word on Facebook
Some I thought of recently is that I don’t think you’ve ever mentioned how they add color to coin, it’s so insignificant that it was obviously going to intrigue me
and this is why I suggest pawnshops when someone asks a good place to buy a ring, I will never allow for people to fall for the scam that is jewelry.
Diamonds were sized by how much he made. It was supposed to be 3 months salary….so if a gal got a bigger ring she was showing she’d be well kept.
Only diamonds I've ever bought was a used engagement ring for my wife. And diamond tipped engraving tools/ saws...
Cool a see a episode on Monday great video as always
I likely won't post on Monday again. I realized it's Valentine's day today and it makes sense to release it today as opposed to waiting.
🤕 🤕 🤕 ouch! But my diamonds hit like Mayweather! 😂 love your content! I love diamonds 💎, make a lot of money with them. 🤲🏻👏🏼✊🏻
I want 2 see the con artist, I wonder what he looks like 😆

If you want something actually rare, get a ring with tanzanite or meteorite

Evan at 11:11 do you have a cold sore from being a bottom or something else 🤔
do you ship to the uk on your eBay ?
Yes on most items
You are going to slip one time and call the con artist, the con artist to his face.
I almost did today lol
12:10 if you can make it as an Athlete in the U.S., go to Europe lol!
We need to see what the con man looks like
I took hallucinogens about two months ago and could not stop seeing his face while I was tripping. Wouldn't recommend it.

Is that all NCAA games or just the 14?
I gotta argue your pricing for a 1 ct Diamond sir. 😅 definitely not $500 wholesale, try a bit more!

They are the 20th century onward's version of capitalism, where it behaves more like a virus than anything.
Early gang how is everyone's day going
