You two are a great team. Counterbalancing each other, yet in sync at the same time. My mother can't listen to your videos so I share them with her in conversations over the phone and it brings out interesting nuances as we discuss the various ideas you present. The dynamic between you two becomes part of what we talk over, as well as the sweetness evident as you work through it live in your presentation. You are enthused and on fire as you share, eager to help us understand what is meaningful to you and yet humble through the process. This adds a realness to your videos that is unique -- at once charming and frustrating and genuine -- yet ultimately enlightening in their rewatchability. There is so much there that watching several times allows me to find more and more meaning in the layering (as mother says we get more by "wringing out" each one). Because it is based in scripture and revealed truth, there are always new things to find. Rather than listening/watching as a well informed substitute for our own personal Come Follow Me reading and study, your method turns us right into the scriptures to read and validate for ourselves through the spirit. Yes, in America we are definitely in bondage to our government! If you look at taxation alone….more than half of what we earn monetarily goes back to pay for wars, planned parenthood, illegal aliens, blah, blah, blah.

The point about taxes is a fair point. I believe roads are mostly paid for by state taxes. Why does the federal government claim to own so much land out west? Why are we paying for so much foreign aid? I could keep going, but the point is, our government is definitely too involved in our lives.

From studying the original documents, letters, and history of our founding fathers and mothers, they meant for the rule of law to be firm as a foundation, but libertarian in keeping government out of the peoples lives as much as possible, and Joseph Smith said it the best, “ we teach people true principles, and let them govern themselves.” 🗽

So their fathers were cut off root and branch and yet there's hope for the posterity.
