- Join us as we head to Thorpe Park for the first day of the 2019 season! Our vlog is action packed with plenty of off ride footage as we ride every coaster that the park has to offer, we also take a look at all of the updates across the park for the new season. This includes changes around Colossus & Tidal Wave along with improvements to the dome and much more!
The park was very busy however we managed to ride all of our favourite attractions at the park including every coaster, various flat rides and water attractions along with Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise Of The Demon. We also take a look at some of the new merchandise for the 2019 season and much more!

Just been to Alton Towers. 1st Time going on smiler and I never knew how rough it is. Waiting 120 minutes exactly. For once, the queue boards are very accurate. Best tip, when you go to the park, 1st go down to Nemesis area, it’s really quiet.
A 2hr wait for Smiler ???? Ridiculous.

Loui Richards I waited about two and a half hours in the afternoon for Wickerman when it was advertised as a 75 minute wait. They couldn’t be bothered to add a second train on it until about 4 o’clock and when they did add it they sent around 30 test trains around the circuit.
Ewan G Tennant yeh i know they have 3 trains so where are they -i waited 1 and a half hours then left around half 4 bc we were only half way-we got a priority pass though so

I love swarm especially at night when you’re going up the lift hill when there are the golden lights next to the lift hill it makes me feel really happy and excited i don’t know why

Swarm was my first "proper" coaster having been inspired by your videos to go. And if Charlotte says it's intense then I feel even better about riding it because I loved it! XD

I remember when Thorpe were adding a new major attraction almost every year. I'm not sure what's been happening there lately but I'm hoping they can bounce back soon. I would love to see them get a wooden coaster and a new log flume because I am going to miss Loggers.

Swarm is without a doubt my favourite ride.
What I’d love is a theme park where everything is open and working. Of course I love Thorpe park but when I see deserted rides or closed corner shops I don’t get that vibe that I’m at a theme park. August is the ultimate best for Thorpe park but then there’s the cuing....

Charlotte! Alex! Guy with a new haircut! Beautiful day. Nice shots. Sorry Charlotte got stung. But no on-ride footage leaves me frustrated.I know it's not your fault, but for me the season won't really kick in until we're clicking our way up that first hill.

Well I think they’re replacing loggers leap with a RMC coaster because in the queue line for colossus it it carved into a tree, 2020=RMC.

This is my second favourite park in the uk
There's only 3 major parks and this is weakest for me. BPB n Towers are better for me.
Dreadful Park it just so shabby needs a complete overhaul!
In fact build a new Disneyland instead...
I prefer THORPE over the other ones, as I’m really close to it, al the rides are some what close together (not much walking) and with an annual pass you can just go up there for today, get on a couple rides and go back a couple weeks later. That’s why I like it, Alton Towers and BPB are hours away for me.

I love the same row, same side and the same seat as you on the swarm! I love the coaster!! Rumba Rapids 7in a boat is a soaker!!! Stealth front row is always a laugh!! Roll on my 2nd visit of 2019 to Thorpe next Saturday!! Tidal wave is being ridden at least twice

Yeah, Alton Towers Rapids were running with passengers yesterday. Nice to see the new safety features. Can they bring back the waterfalls. Such a great fun. #bringbackwaterfalls.
Last time I went to Thorpe Park was back in August 2014 the day after I turned 18 and went there still hungover 😂 Worth it though

So glad to have a priority pass where you can literally jump the queue on most rides, this allows me to ride every ride At least three times or more
When I went there I had a blast I went on my first rollercoaster called the swarm and the saw too it's so cool

The only wing coaster ive ridden is Raptor at Gardaland as i dont get to ride so many coasters lol, but in fact its my moms favourite coaster lol

Totally agree with Charlotte on Colossus's restraints! It's a real shame as it is a decent ride with a good length to it but I normally don't bother doing it.

We love The Swarm! We've been on that and Fenix at Toverland and we really enjoyed them, hoping to get to Heide Park soon to ride Flug der Damonen (and of course Colossos) 👍 🎢 😀
I know I'm late but the last time I went Thorpe park it was very windy and we went on a few coasters then nemesis inferno and we had a fastrack for it and I was scared it would run out before they check the fastrack but we made it to the bit where they put you in the row and it kept on being windy when the people infrontmof us was about to go on but then it stoped being windy and every on was getting on and safety checking them in and they left and my turn to get on someone fell over getting to their sear cus ppl were pushing to get on but we managed to get on but it was a crazy experience

I first went in 2012 (that I can remember when I was 15) but found pics from 1999 (I would’ve been 2)
I just got back from Thorpe today and it was great! Nice to have vlog when I get back home to relax.

I personally don't find Swarm particularly intense if I'm honest.
Also, I really think now that Jungle Escape is unlikely to return for 2020 with it being removed from the website, they should bring back a highly intense maze, like *The Asylum* preferably to go back into the empty building space.

I do actually find the Swarm quite intense in the back for a model that's often bashed on for being forceless but I don't find Icon to be that intense at all really

In the old town area I really want them to put a RMC and of course do a rebuild of the buildings in the area because its quite depressing and getting very worn. Maybe instead of a wild west theme they could change it to be a mine based theme that way in the future aswell as the RMC they could also have a mine train coaster for a younger audience.
Been twice to Thorpe Park but I want to say to all of you at theme park worldwide thank you for getting me into theme parks I accessed something I would have not done if you did not create this channel

Going on Friday, my 20th time going Thorpe park went to pass holder's and personally i found saw quite smooth compared to last fright night also loving colossus
I went on Swarm today for the first time. It is so much fun and a great ride for beginners.
