I have been wondering.....why doesn't anyone mix the epoxy into the spakle? I did a small test version to try before I made the final version the other day and it worked perfectly.....what am I missing
Thank you so much for showing how you apply your epoxy! That is missing from most (all that I've watched, but I probably have missed a couple lol) other tutorials, and it's a VERY important step! I love your videos, and your sense of humor. :)
Hello I’m having trouble with my spackle is does not come out like that. It like almost melts and sinks. It doesn’t keep the shape at all. How do I fix this ? and I did wait about 3-5 minutes before pulling the trigger on my ice cream cone dispenser
@@Ccs688 I found out it was because I was preparing it in my garage Which was cold. As soon as I did it in my living room I didn’t have that problem anymore
Have you ever used Culture Sculpt Culture Sculpt is a 2-part easy to use sculpting epoxy that can be modeled by hand, pressed into molds or tooled for fine detail. There is no 3 to 4 day waiting period since it is also an epoxy mix. this hardens like a rock the very next day. Talk about the realism of ice cream scoops! there are plenty of videos on how this it is used. It’s a little on the pricey side but hey you get what you pay for and it’s worth it
Hey there, total your costs for materials and your time and estimate from there. Also, I priced my tumblers cheaper in the beginning until I was able to master the craft.
Let it cure for 24 hours. If it is still tacky then you did not mix your epoxy correctly. Maybe the portions are off or you did not mix for long enough
What can be used to seal the topper if epoxy can’t be used? I’m highly allergic to epoxy and have switched to Crystalac but it’s water based so will it ruin the spackle?
This was so helpful. Thank you for all the tips and tricks. Also explaining why u are doing things that helps so much.
Out of all the tutorials I follow for these..I find you’s very easy to listen and actually be able to learn
A really great instructor
Yes I did it,made 2. I also added whip cream on top of ice cream. They are still drying then apply uv resin.
Thx for sharing

Omg 😲 you made it look sooooo real...great job and thanks for sharing.
Love this! Thank you so much!!! Also, I love your custom mat! Did you make it yourself? I’ve been wanting to make a custom silicone mat myself!!
Thank you! And my mat is not custom
Great job. Looks perfect 🥰
Do you know how come some mix flour to there spackle?

Maybe it is old Spakle ? Or you added too much acrylic paint to the Spakle. Acrylic paint is water based
Same happened to me

I have been wanting to try out but I know it’s expensive! This wait is longer, but it is definitely cheaper.
@@MissKissKreations true that….I am a very impatient person
Does it have chemical fumes like regular liquid epoxy?
So adorable. I was holding my breath a few times expecting the scoops to fall off. So that putty adheres itself permenatlu to the lid?
Yes. It hardens to the lid. Then you epoxy to really secure it! Just like how it stays in place when filling a hole in your drywall
My only concrn is how did you seal the opening on lid where you removed slider? Resin?
Is there some thing you can use to close the holes from the lid you removed?
Do you have a link to the removable little toppers?
This is to cute
Maybe make Mac and cheese topper , I would love to see how that’s done 👍
How do you determine the price of your cups I'm a beginner and still learning.
Hey there, total your costs for materials and your time and estimate from there. Also, I priced my tumblers cheaper in the beginning until I was able to master the craft.
How is the ice cream lid doing after a year?
Hi. For some reason after my epoxy dried, it was sticky? Do you know what this would happen?
Let it cure for 24 hours. If it is still tacky then you did not mix your epoxy correctly. Maybe the portions are off or you did not mix for long enough
What sizes are the ice cream scoops, please?
Can I use resin instead of epoxy
How do you make a magnetic removable topper?
Hi can you use mod pudge to seal it in and add glitter an would that last thanks
Unfortunately it wouldn’t last. Especially when wet.
There is a mod podge that is top rack dishwasher safe. I bet it would work nicely.
How many times you epoxy? Just once?
2 times. Epoxy as many times as you need to go get a full covered topper.
Random question as I listen to you explain everything.... Are you from Michigan by chance?
Lol. No. But I get asked that a lot
You should have use painters tape to seal off the bottom of your lid while doing epoxy❤️
That is a great option. Thankfully, I got no epoxy on the bottom 😊
How do you wash the top??
Where did you order the unicorn poop I cant seem to find it

Alguna habla español por favor me dicen los materiales para hacer las bolas de helando por fa ❤❤❤
Lo que ella usa se llama light weight spackle. Lo venden en Amazon
Y el material se llama ice scream scoop. Eso los venden en el súper
@@Yaniacevedo25 Muchas gracias 😘😘😘😘
@@MaritzaMorales16 De nada 😊
Do you epoxy the holes underneath the ice cream spackle from where you removed the lid piece?
Only if I can reach it. I don’t do it specifically.
Wouldn’t the liquid get to it from inside the lid
Where did you get the little hand stir stick
I believe Wicked Shimmer on Etsy
Can I use food sprinklers??
I wouldn’t suggest. It may break down over time.
They will mold.

I was going to suggest crystalac I am not too sure then to be honest. 😕
Try bright tone
@@tamiechiadenny-frank7899 Brite Tone is Crystalac.. Crystalac is the brand
Uv resin ?

I believe in the video I mixed 4 ml
@@MissKissKreations ok thank you !!

@@MissKissKreations thank you
I LOVE IT, JUST KEEP IT AWAY FROM SMALL CHILDREN.
