I know its been 4 months since you uploaded but im wondering if its fine to keep the mana base the same. Many other youtubers complained that the mana base was terrible and I really want to know if it was fixed through the non-land changes.
I was using command zones upgrade guides then I watched one of your videos and they're so much more in depth! Not to mention more impactful, changing out wats necessary to hone in on the decks strategy. I've done a few of these upgrades so far and I think Deep Clue Sea is my fav! Made the deck soooo much better, love the videos, love the upgrades, keep em coming! 😎
Hey Grazzet, Thank you for showing me Game Nerdz, I got to pre-order all 4 fallout commander decks on a good price and they arrived a few hours ago, thank you for the link. Love your videos
Glad you like them! I'm also a fan of Fallout (despite not playing the game myself) and was happy to see it have a somewhat faithful representation here.
Well done on hammering these precon upgrades out so quickly, the new format clearly has helped with it. I hope you enjoy your breather before getting stuck back into things. I'm very curious how the Yarus deck will turn out.
I was told this deck may be a little weaker than the other 3. I don't want to edit it too much bc I won't edit the others. What were the small tweaks you made? What did you replace?
@@Cloudiroth462 the main thing is probably just a few more cheap energy enablers, and swapping some clunkier artifacts for more efficient ones. It’s been a little while since I watched the upgrade, I’ll skim through it again and see if I remember exactly what tweaks I made that he didn’t cover
Solid upgrade here Grazzet. What I did was go a more spell slinger deck by adding dynavolt tower a counterspell or two, and a few ways to proliferate the counters as well as dig for pieces based on your hand. My first play test of the deck, there was WAY too many lands and very little interaction. As you said, there's a lot of cards in this deck that have separate homes. I'd even argue that Nick Valentine is also a removable card for his own mono-blue clue deck. This deck has some powerful stuff though and being able to cast Liberty Prime for free with Aetherworks marvel feels good. I'm looking forward to seeing your upgrade changes when the new energy precon for Modern Horizons 3 is released to see how it impacts the Science! deck
Glad you enjoyed it! Personally, I tried to make Dynavolt Tower work in some of the first testing I did for this build, but it never really worked our well for me (it either sat around doing nothing and, even if I did have enough energy to activate it, felt like to cost too much to do so when compared to other energy sinks) but I can see it performing a bit better with some more instants added in (the added disruption would be nice as well). Hopefully the actual energy commander (which Dr. Li isn't really as she's more artifact support than anything) coming to us with MH3 will give us some more tools to work with, which I personally can't wait to see.
@@GrazzetMTG Yeah! So what I do is I'll attach mechanized production to dynavolt so I can net more charge counters per turn by casting instant and sorceries. The bolt damage is nice in an emergency, but I'm really just using it for the energy production and a cast to net more energy from Li. Regardless, the more energy the better! I was even considering adding some of the bigger bodies that net energy on ETB such as the whale, but I really wanted to keep the "strictly artifact" theme going as best as possible. Perhaps abusing ETB is the better option, but I'm sure that's going to dip further in the financials
Between this and the Modern deck, me thinks energy will be way stonger as a strat' going forward. Also, Voja deck- Wo'lf tribal has never been stronger now that it's in Naya.
Where's Kyle Hill when you need him... references aside, amazing vid as always! Now as for the vote today... Massacre Girl kills it. I am sorry, that Wither ability? It just BEGS for some spicy cooking, especially with the card draw attached! Day 317 of waiting for the face reveal... got a favourite plane to planeswalk to?
There are only so many expensive cards I can add into a deck and still get away with calling it budget! (Aetherworks Aetherworks Marvel, Gonti's Aether Heart, and Urza, Lord Protector were nearly $30 of the budget). But seriously, Urza Lord High Artificer is another solid piece of ramp and artifact payoff, and with Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter combo makes is cast our entire deck (and can combo alone can still be pretty good with Aetherworks Aetherworks Marvel to get repeated used out of it if we have a lot of energy) - so I can see them all being solid additions if we want to go over budget.

The main problem with Grazzet videos is that they make me want to spend money on decks that I wasn't originally planning on getting...

Hell yeah been waiting brother thank you!
My pleasure and I hope it was worth the wait!

That's an Energetic build! Good job!
Finally cracking into this one; curious to see what you've done here
Great video! I would personally really like to see a Mr. House dice rolling build for a Cut-Rate Commander.
This deck has been super fun, been playing it since Wednesday. I kept it a bit lower powered but just a few basic upgrades can make it really hum.
I was told this deck may be a little weaker than the other 3. I don't want to edit it too much bc I won't edit the others. What were the small tweaks you made? What did you replace?

I want to buy this deck... so gonna seriously consider these ups

Very good work
Love your deck techs! Would you do an Agent Frank Horrigan video? Hes such a cool golgari commander.
Can you make one using Fallout cards only?

I’m surprised electrostatic pummeler wanted added

mate you should get paid by WotC because you make me spend so much money on their products

My good sir, Urza Lord High Artificer, Dramatic Reversal and Iscron scepter called and are sad you left them out 😂
